VaporKrar Waist Pack

Although bulky running packs and vests aren't your jam, you don't want to head out onto the trail without the nutrition and hydration you need for a successful run. Well, luckily the Nathan VaporKrar Waist Pack has the minimalist storage you need to thrive on mid-to-long distance training runs. Complete with a soft and flexible 20oz flask that gives you just the right amount of hydration for an average-length excursion on the road or trail, this low-profile pack has a bounce-free design that you'll hardly notice, even when you're pounding up steep slopes or cruising back down the other way. The center back pocket easily has enough space for the water flask, but can also hold a packable rain shell or running hat. Meanwhile, stretch pockets on the side hold smaller running gels, while a front zippered pocket accommodates most smart phones, and also offers secure storage for your car or house keys.

Great Waist Pack

I was looking for a waist pack for some longer runs that was a bit more discrete than those with the visible water bottles/flasks. The VAPORKRAR is perfect, since the flask is hidden away. Although these are out of stock, I was able to find some available on the Nathan Amazon store.

Great design and functionality

Very satisfied with this purchase. The included 20oz water bottle is the perfect size for those long runs. Managed to stuff my iPhone 11 Pro Max with a Quadlock case on the front zippered pocket. Hardly feel the pack on my waist, only remembered when I needed a drink.

Not Satisfied.

Purchased this in December 2020 and only lasted 4 months. The bottle bounces way too much and pocket ripped. Cheaper option from another company lasted 2 years as opposed to this one.

Water bottle can use BeFree filter lids

Just got this, and tried replacing the lid with one from a 0.6L BeFree bottle - and it fits! No leaking during squeezing. Also the 0.6L BeFree bottle fits in the pocket. Took it for a walk, refilled water at break - nice. My S20 in a Moment case doesnt fit well.

Much needed utility for long euns

This waist pack really lived up to the hype. I was able to run with water and my smart phone. The pack took a while to figure out though. I thought I got a size to small (I'm 6'3" 220) and had it on backwards. After the inaugural run, I'll probably run with the bottle in front so that it's easier to get to and return it. Zero bounce or rubbing. I highly recommend this.

Great design, but bottle leaks

I think the design and fit of the pack is great. Its hard to think of anyway a pack could be lighter than this. The main drawbacks are the bottle leaks, especially when full, and it can be hard to access the bottle on the move. If the bottle didn't leak this would be a 4.5/5.

Solid belt

I use this for short runs where I don't need a full hydration backpack. The front pocket is just big enough for a phone, I hope it will be a little bigger next time. The side pockets are big enough for a few gels and keys (would also be nice to have a key clip for security). I like the collapsible water bottle but the pocket can be tough to close on the fly.

Best way to carry water and on your waist for sure

Best belt for distance runs. The flaccid bottle takes some getting used to, but the lack of sloshing makes up for it. Just crushed an 18 miler with this adding a gel pack and an iPhone xr. I would recommend. Be careful about the sizing- if it’s too big- will not work at all I’m sure. The straps behind the bottle let you wrench down the belt as you empty the bottle- use them!
