No real footprint - Generic Suck
MSR really missed the boat here, 1st - adding a pocket onto footprint to store the footprint, that is added weight, I cut mine off. I have always stored my footprint folded dirty end inside and then rolled with tent. 2nd, this leaving out the grommets and using string, garbage. I loved the old footprints and going fly with footprint was so easy, everything clicked right into the grommets and bingo bango all done. Get rid of the generic footprints and bring back the old design, using grommets and no sewn in storage pocket. I have searched to the ends of the internet looking for the holy grail, the Nubba Hubba 2 person original footprint. No such luck.

No eyelets for outer only pitching!
I lost my original MSR footprint, so bought a new one specifically because I want to be able to pitch outer only. I can't believe MSR have removed the eyelets that allow this - they were the only reason to buy this expensive footprint over a cheap footprint/DIY one(or none at all). Absolutely pointless, do not buy.

Diameter of poles
Hi there - these work great for my tarp. Can you provide any information on the diameter of these poles? I only see length and weight in the specs.

Works great
It’s a tent footprint, can’t go wrong. Don’t understand the whining about lack of grommets. Sure, independent setup would be a little easier if there were matching tabs to clip to the poles, but do what we did - tie it permanently to the tent. Everything still fits in the bag and you don’t have to attach it separately each time - it’s already attached to the tent. Just roll out the tent and you’re done. 60+ setups over 3 years with our Zoic 4, works great.

Older versions were better
Being a universal product means one thing, it fits badly on all products. The new versions do not provide any grommits. Instead, you have to tie one yourself. There is also not clear indication qhich direction is up, as they decided to spare the costs and remove the massive logo in the middle, which helped indicate which way the footprint should be laid. This is the second lousiest product MSR has to offer, which is just slightly better than the Gearshed V2.

Universal hubba 3
With so many bad reviews, why isn't MSR addressing the problem? Thanking customers for bringing it to MSR's attention doesn't help us.

No grommets for tent poles
Really frustrating that MSR removed the grommets from the ground sheet. It makes the tent almost impossible to put up in the rain. Annoying especially that this is a feature that’s been removed, it used to attached to the tent, making it more secure and easier to put up, can’t understand the logic.

Missing info
Weird to not have information about weight in the tech specs. Hope this can be added

Okay, but which side towards the ground?
It's functional, but it seems to be waterproof or repellent only on one side and there are no instructions on which side goes towards the ground?
