Why We Like The Firefall Bib Pant
We pull on the Mountain Hardwear Firefall Bib Pant in the morning for all day comfort and protection during the deepest powder days of the season. We rely on the Thermal.Q insulation and taped seams to keep us warm and dry, even when we're riding in the wet conditions of the Pacific Northwest or the East Coast. As the days get longer, warmer, and powder turns to corn, we still rock the Firefall thanks to the large side zips that quickly release heat on our next lift ride.

Husband loves them!
I bought these for my husband and he skied in them Saturday. He loved them. He felt warmer and had great mobility.

Needs buckles or front zip
The bib straps do not have buckles for quick release. Combined with the side zippers, they are awkward to take on/off. Material quality is good, but the overall design is inefficient. If you live in your snow clothes all winter like I do, it's not a great setup. Pretty snug fit overall.

Good
Nice and warm. Relatively tight fitting but still allows for mobility. Only thing I would change is to add clips on the shoulder straps for easier on/off

Quality bib at a great price
5’7” 33” waist & bought large-short & fits well. I would have liked full side zip sides since it is awkward getting on & off. The bib snaps do not come off, but are length adjustable. Fit is narrow in waist and thighs. I used with fleece pants underneath with no problem. I like the many pockets, but would prefer all zip. Read sizing before ordering. I’m usually a medium, but needed large to accommodate layers.

Downgrade from previous Firefall Bib model
I bought these firefall Bibs on sale because I have a firefall bib from the 2021 season and wanted a different color. The 2021 bibs were excellent, all the major features at a great price point. Sadly, MH decided to do away with a lot of the features that made the 2021 bib so great. Major downgrades: 1. The 2021 bib had a zipper kangaroo chest which was great for securing items like the phone. The 2023-24 bib has velcro that doesn't feel as secure. 2. While the 2021 bib didn't have inseam vent zippers either, it did have zippers that went all the way down the length of the bib. The 2023-24 bib only has the side zipper down the waist area. 3. The 2021 bib had more flexible material and, therefore, felt easier to bend at the knees without the entire bib moving. 4. The suspenders on the 2021 bib allowed you to unhook them at the front if needed. The 2023-24 bibs don't have that ability. While the extra pockets on the front quads were nice, I wish MH didn't stray from what made the original Firefall bib so great

Can’t beat mountain hardware
As expected. These fit my son great. He’ll beat them up so I’m looking forward to see how they hold up.

No inseam vents but well made.
Well made bibs on the smaller side of large but like another review stated I found out there are NO INSEAM VENTS even if the description states there is. Having seen that review after I bought them I called to ask and was assumed they have them. I get the bibs and no inseam vents. Wow. Returning them.

feel great, just too short
these bibs felt great when I tried them on, but ended up returning them. I'm 6'4", 195lbs and ordered a size large. They were too short and the tall option wasn't available when I ordered them. I ended up getting volcom roan bibs as they run a bit longer
