Great fit/comfort
My son wore these while camping/hiking in Zion and he loved them. Great fit and comfort.

Wife got me these for a Christmas gift. It is now the end of April and the soles are shot? 4 months? Have never had a pair of shoes die such a quick death. Horrible product.

Older version was much better
Really disappointed in these shoes. I have a prior version of Merrell Novas that are very comfortable. These Nova 3’s put an undo amount of pressure on the inside of your knees. Maybe there is more padding on the outside edge of the shoes than the inside of the shoe? Not sure, but I really wanted to like these based on my prior experience with Novas. Bummer.

Very comfortable and very good shoe however I noticed one issue. The insoles of the non-gortex model tends to move towards the back of the shoe forcing you to secure it with tape to keep it in place. This is the second pair to have this issue. My newest pair was received 4 days ago and the insoles are already moving out of place

These are the most stylish in my opinion of the three that I have. They are really comfy out of the box and they are stylish. That’s all I have to offer as far as a rating goes. I would recommend if you have the money and like the style. Oh and they fit true to size.

Great Shoes, but Size DOWN
I have two pairs of NOVA 2s and was really excited to get these for an upcoming trip to Europe. These have the same great comfort and quality as the NOVA 2s, save one problem--these are sized larger than normal. I own no less than a dozen different types of Merrell shoes, and I always wear a size 12. These fit like 12.5 or 13. Unfortunately, because of my purchase, I am not allowed to return or exchange these. I should have read more reviews that noted these ran significantly larger than normal. Disappointing, but I'll put in insoles and wear thick socks and suffer through it.

Almost great
Normally wear size 12, had to return. Great looking shoe but runs small and narrow. If the material wasn’t so noisy I would order a wide and half size larger but sounded like my feet were in grocery sacks or something. The mesh material is very noisy as it flexes as you walk. Was super excited about these and sad to be let down.

Great for a Spartan!
I trained and did a 5k Spartan race with these and loved them. The vibram soles had good grip even on wet surfaces. The lugs gave good traction when pulling plates and climbing rope. The integrated rock plates kept my feet happy over super rocky desert trails. The mesh uppers kept my feet cool and they dried quickly. I also love the color of the blue and orange design.
