It really is warm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great nitt, super warm. One thing is it doesn't have separate finger sewn into liner like some gloves it's the classic style of mitt.

Old Woodchuck's perspective
I have used Marmot products since the late 1970's and have never been disappointed in their function in the outdoors. However, these mittens are for my 70-year-old wife for the extreme Chicago weather we have had this year. Compared to the mittens I've used when I was an active outdoorsman, they seem extremely well designed and built. Although we will never climb a 14,000-footer in winter any longer, IMHO I would trust them if I did.

Strange fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No leashes so I had to buy my own. Marmot said there were short leashes but that’s not accurate. I ordered Mediums and they’re not very roomy. It’s hard to spread my fingers inside when I need to grab my ski poles.

My Warmest Mittens
I finally broke down and purchased this pair of mittens and I love them so far. They are easily the warmest pair of mittens/gloves I've ever owned. I haven't even needed hand warmers yet this season- a first for me!

Great mittens for cold days in Maine. Skiing, hik!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I’m thrilled with the mittens. I’ve been out skiing in Maine in the teens and went out in the bad rain storm. My hand’s didn’t freeze and in the rain I was dry.

So warm! Do not get them wet.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these mitts so much. My hands stay so warm they actually sweat a bit. After sweating in them and using the nose wipe for a season, I figured I should wash them… this was a mistake!!! I have been trying to dry them for 3 days and they are starting to stink. NEVER GET THE INSIDE WET! :(
