Why We Like The Marmot Limestone Tent
The Marmot Limestone 6P Tent isn't really something to haul on our back for a big backpacking trip, but for campgrounds and backyard excursions, it's the perfect shelter for the whole family. The Limestone is easy to set up with color-coded Easy Pitch clips and poles, while the Zone construction uses pre-bent poles for near vertical walls that create a downright palatial feel compared to other tents. Spacious vestibules provide plenty of room to store soggy boots and other gear, so the kids aren't tracking mud into the tent. Vents in the fly keep the air in the tent from getting too stuffy and stale when we're waiting out a storm, and the reflective guy-out points keep us from tripping and bringing down the whole shebang when we make a mad nighttime dash to the bathroom.

Marmot Limestone 6p
I bought my limestone about a year ago and have been out in it about 7 times now primitive camping and I love it. It is an easy set up and on two of my trips I had some severe storms come in, the one alone had about 40mph winds with it and the tent shook some but it weathered the storm( no pun intended). Very easy to do a one person set up with and I really enjoy the space and head room.

Nice tent but bad poles
On my third gentle use I had three poles break. Unfortunately, They did not have replacement poles and has been a challenge to find replacement poles. On the plus side they did send me a check for the replacement value.

Great tent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tent is very spacious, perfect for a couple and dog. It fits a double air mattress with lots of room to spare. It has lots of mesh and good air flow, great for summer camping. I would recommend if you are looking for a quality constructed tent that is easily to put up.

Good tent!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very spacious, great high ‘roof’, let a little water in during a consistent rain on its first use, rainfly is not easy to get in/out of.

I have the older model Limestone 6p and love it, but last summer we experienced some strong winds and it bent the main tent poles on one side. Is it possible to get replacement poles or are the poles for the new style different than the previous design?

I've had this tent for about 6 years and the seam tape is delaminating on the fly. How do I repair this? Do I remove the old tape? Then, what type of new tape or sealant do I use? Specifics based on this tent fabric are what I'm looking for. Thanks! Tara

Am I interpreting the pictures correctly that unlike previous version of the Limestone 6, that in this version, all 4 sides of the tent are solid fabric (not see-through netting), other than perhaps the top canopy above the doors?
