Great Everyday comfortable outerwear
This jacket has become my go to when just going out and about. It looks very nice with the Mammut logo on the front and it has very good tapered fit. I'm 6' 205 athletic build, most jackets that fit my shoulders just hang like a dress. This one has a nice tapered fit and feels Great. A base layer underneath is very comfortable Down to around 32 F. It's my new favorite. I'm in northern New York near the border.

Perfect Backcountry Outerlayer
As someone that runs absurdly warm on the uphill, I used to find myself prefering to get wet when it's snowing rather than throwing on a hardshell - even with vents fully open. This layer changed that - I can throw this on top and without overheating, and don't get absolutely soaked. I haven't tried it out too much in a wetter snow or rain, but I imagine it definitely has its limits. Wish it had some vents too, but the double zipper & wearing it like a cape seems to do the job well enough.

-It's my go-to for ski touring. -Skin pockets are good. -Reasonably breathable, but not enough for when I'm travelling faster or in warmer weather. -I mostly ski the Coast Mountains in BC, Canada. It's usually just breathable enough to tolerate on the up, just warm enough to not need a hardshell going down. -I don't like colour.

My go to ski touring jacket
This is my absolute go to ski touring jacket. I love the two way zipper so I can have all the protection from the elements while still letting it vent a ton of heat. It's a great jacket that I cannot recommend highly enough.

My go to Soft-shell
This jacket is amazing! I've used this in the Rockies during high wind in combination with a vest and wow I was so warm and did not feel any of the wind and stayed very warm What I love about this jacket is the mobility that is provides when climbing, hiking, or walking. Additionally this jacket fits so well and looks so good it's hard to not wear this jacket. I also love the very large thumb holes that extend the sleeves over the hand and keep them protected. One thing that I wish this jacket had was some pockets lower, not just near the chest but lower near the stomach. These pockets would be great to warm your hands, or just place small items for easy access. To conclude, this jacket is very well made, comfortable, warm, very wind and rain resistant, and flexible. This jacket would be a great addition to any climber or hikers arsenal.
