Playing in the peaks puts you at risk for quickly changing weather. One exposed peak may have a blissful vista, but by the time you make it across a ridge to the next summit it could be capped by a freak mountain storm. When you're pushing pedals in the Maloja ElkeM. Women's Jacket, a little precipitation isn't going to rain on your parade.

Designed for damp conditions, the ElkeM. Jacket not only has taped seams, the zippers are laminated with a polyurethane layer as well. This prevents moisture from penetrating the jacket through the full-length front zipper. Of course, watertight seams and zips would be useless without the ElkeM.'s fabric possessing waterproof properties itself.

Maloja uses its 2.5 layer Sympatex fabric, a water- and wind-proof, durable, and breathable laminate that's incredibly lightweight for easy packing. To ensure optimum breathability, Maloja supplies the ElkeM. with a covered mesh vent on the back. The sleeves sport adjustable cuffs and they are articulated. This, along with an extended rear hem, provides full coverage from adverse weather when in the riding position.

If more coverage is needed, a removable hood will keep you nice and dry. The Maloja Women's ElkeM. comes in five colors: Granite, Curry, Granat, Blue Steel, and Pine. It's available in sizes X-Small through X-Large.
