Great, not Exceptional

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

My sister used these on some recent hikes in Colorado and I have some feedback. They were pretty light! Not the lightest on the market, but pretty darn light for the price. The handles were comfortable and they were easy to stow away. They weren't very hard to deploy, but that's mostly where any gripes came up. It was probably some user error, but the poles started to compress after the first few times they were leaned on. My sister could not figure out how to get them tight enough on her own. Luckily, it was a short hike and they weren't direly needed. Later that night, I showed her how to tighten them further and they didn't compress once on the next hike. Heads up, like any pole, just make sure your locking mechanism is fully tightened and they will keep assist you immensely.
