Why We Like The Targhee II Mid Waterproof Hiking Boot
Lacing up the Keen Men's Targhee Mid II Hiking Boot feels like shifting our feet into four-wheel drive. Their four-millimeter lugs grab rough terrain, while the waterproof and breathable Keen.Dry insert keeps our feet dry. The dual-density, compression-molded EVA midsoles cushion and absorb shock so we can return to the trailhead without achy feet. The mid-height cut protects our ankle from rolls and twists, and Keen's heel support structure cups the heel so we experience less slippage and blisters.

This is my third pair
This is my third pair of keens. I buy them for work but usually wear them for casual for a couple of months before I start working in them. I love their fit and support. I'm hooked!

Love my Targhees
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new boots! This is my 3rd pair. I’m a dog walker and have worn through the last ones. I wear shoes until they pretty much fall off my feet. My shoes get a full workout daily. The only disappointing thing about these new guys is they seem a little more stiff in the ankle area than in the past- as tho they’ve been made from different materials than previous models. Hoping they’ll wear thru this stage soon. Im sad to say that part of the shoe actuality leaves me a bit sore at the end of the day. Other than this, I’m planning on sticking with this model for as long as they’re made

Pretty good boot
Pretty good boot overall I don't really like how narrow the top of the boot is and the tongue keeps popping out but overall it's a good boot. I like the braddock boots better those fit perfect. Probably why these are 160 and Braddock are 200

Keen loyalist
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I have been using this model for as long as KEEN has made this boot. I have lost count on how many pairs of these I have purchased. The boot is comfortable and looks pretty good with most of my attire. These are generally my everyday wear with a few exceptions. I wear a more heavy duty boot for hiking and backpacking due to the terrain I hike. I found that the targhee is a light duty hiker, your midsoles do not work well with a pack for me on hiking trails. So, I use them for casual use. The leather uppers hold up pretty good and the laces as well. The colors offered are really cool. Keen has to work on quality control when it comes to shoe glue! Without fail I have had sole separating on every pair of Targhees. Keen has a wonderful warranty on their products and I think part of the reason we as consumers continue to buy their shoes is that they usaully follow through on valid warranty issues. Keen has a few new color selections I think are really cool and want to have as well. Will I continue to wear my favorite boots, yes. I am a Keen consumer and have been. Loyal and faithful. Thank you, Keen, for many comfortable miles.

Good Jasper Colors
There's not one bad review on here. Reminds Me of that old saying if it's to good to be true it probably is. One bad thing is they always sell out of my size quickly. Speaking of the jasper shoes I'd stick to making colored shoes instead of black and brown ones. It seems they always run out of my size and then they go on sale which is also bogus.

Can we just get rid of the strappy things?
The straps that lay across the side and then the ones that go around to the back of the heel are pointless. They get caught up on things when I'm walking and they are the first thing to get torn up. Otherwise it's a nice, light boot that is comfortable for all day hiking. I get new Keen's every year for work but I think I'll look for a model with an all leather upper next year.

Great Boot!
I have size 15 feet but ordered a size up. I have had issues with my toes hitting the front of my boots and losing my toenails after only a 5 to 8 mile hike. I specifically sought out and purchased the Keen Targhee II to avoid losing my toenails again. These boots have plenty of room for my toes. Being a size up, there is a little too much wiggle room side to side but wearing thicker socks solves that problem.

Beautiful shoe
I have had many pairs of targhee ll before. These are the nicest looking. The fit is a little different, more like a boot than the snug fitting shoes before. But I really like the look so I’m getting used to them.
