It's surprising that Hyperlite Mountain Gear's 2400 Dyneema Ice Backpack only weighs two pounds and can carry all the climbing and alpine gear you need for a day. With a 40L capacity, the Dyneema Ice has a capacity suitable for ropes, racks, axes, crampons, helmets, and winter clothing. Hyperlite Mountain Gear made this pack out of thicker, extremely tear-resistant Dyneema, the same fabric used in climbing equipment, to ensure long-lasting durability without the weight.
Unique to Hyperlite Mountain Gear, the Dyneema Hardline suspension system lines the back panel and shoulder straps in padded foam and spacer mesh for breathable comfort, and there are removable aluminum stays for extra stability where you need it. Hyperlite Mountain Gear equipped this pack with fully taped seams and a roll-top closure for protection against wet weather and snowy grounds. There's also an internal zippered pocket for valuables, and an external attachment system for crampons and ice axes.
