Great addition
Great upgrade! My previous tube had acquired a hole on the mouthpiece. The cap for this tube works as intended and the insulation keeps the water in the tube cooler…. Definitely more tolerable than a mouth full of warm water on your first sip

Great fit
This was exactly what we needed and fit the water bladder we bought 8 years ago!

Great drinking tube for my flux with plug and play
Out of all my hydration bladders and drinking tubes. This by far has the best flow. And its the only one that I have that is insulated

Most used hose, wouldn't change a thing
I don't even use the clear hydration hose anymore unless I'm hiking in the summer. This in combination with an insulated shoulder strap won't freeze in the winter. If you don't have an insulated shoulder sleeve on your pack then this is only sufficient in the ver early/late winter and may freeze in the dead of winter. Most ski/snowboard packs have insulated shoulder sleeves which personally I think is a must when shopping for a winter pack. If it ever does freeze on me it's because I forgot to blow air when I'm done drinking OR tuck bite valve back into shoulder strap (I never have to take both precautions, one will suffice). Should it accidentally freeze I just tuck it inside my jacket and it's usually thawed after one ski run.

Works great! But I mildly broke the bite valve im.
Works great. However I mildly broke a retaining tab the very first time I used it. I was trying to unlock the bite valve when I started on my hike and I accidentally pulled off the end. There’s a tiny tab or something there that retains a the valve that broke immediately. It still works fine but I have to be careful about how I unlock the valve. Otherwise, it’s a great product.

Bite valves are amazing!
Love the bite valve on these! I use a sawyer mini installed in line, the bite valve allows for perfect flow without restriction. Additionally the flow is substantial enough to release water from bladder with gravity, this is a huge benefit at camp. No need to carry separate system.

Insulated Tube
Definitely keeps liquids cooler longer than the regular plastic tube, but not as much as I’d hoped. Still like it though!

Performs better than advertised or expected
I have used the insulated tube once and it worked as advertised. The new blaster valve functions even better than my other blaster valve, with which I am completely satisfied. Also, other reviewers have complained that the cap comes off frequently. I didn't have this experience. My previous blaster valve cap used to come off occasionally on its own, but not the new one. Label me a still very satisfied HydraPak customer!
