Not Balanced--Pronate Pusher
I love the color. The length and toe box are good. I tried these in hopes of finding something that would provide good arch support since the Clifton 8 has been discontinued. These just don't have enough arch support and had to be returned. Even just walking around the house, it was clear these wouldn't be comfortable.

My podiatrist recommended Hoka.
Wore them for my walk today and they feel good. I like that the toe bed is roomy and doesn't squeeze your toes. My first pair was a little smaller and I couldn't wear them with socks. These are perfect, and very light.

Best Hoka shoe I've tried so far
I love the Challenger 7 the best out of all the Hoka shoes I've tried so far. Clifton 6, transport and the hiking shoe. This is my go to shoe when I'm working on my feet all day, shopping with a lot of walking, or doing cardio workouts(walking/jogging). The other shoes serve their purpose as well but I LOVE the Challenger 7. I personally did not like the bondi. It was too bulky and heavy for me. I'm 59 and do have joint issues so these hokas do help ease my joints

Great Shoes
So comfortable and stylish are my Challenger 7's. I have been receiving compliments everywhere I go. I walk ten-thousand steps and feel no part n in my feet.

Not
I returned it, because they are not comfortable, on the heels of my feet, the soles of my feet hurt a lot.

Not jet black more like a faded gray throughout :\
That's just it. I thought they would be as black as pictured but they are a faded grey-ish black (cheap look) Really disappointed integration color. I also challenged my kids to a foot race took off and the shoe nearly slipped off my foot and took me out Figured I would just wait until I got a smaller size. So I can't really rate in that regards yet.

I miss the toe box of the Challenger 5's
I love the Challenger ATRs I had 5, 6 and now the 7's. (The 6's were my least favorite but I still wear them). I loved the 5's. They for great, no toe issues. I want to love the 7's. They are good, but not great. The toe box is narrow. I don't have a big foot. I have a skinny, narrow foot, size 6. COME ON HOKA, widen the toe box back up some. I love these shoes, I've been loyal because they are great, but I might have to go on a search for a different pair. I can't take the lack of room up there. I don't want to go up a size because I don't want to trip on the extra.
