- Q & A
I feel these are probably the best overall fitting bibs that I own, out of 5 or 6 pairs. The fabric is nice, the leg grippers are comfortable and not too tight. This chamois is pretty good and actually comes up far enough in the front. The only issue I have had is that the top stitching on a seam came undone(thread broke) about the second time I wore them. I was only maybe a 1/2 inch, so I just sewed it a bit and it has been fine. Other have commented about the stitching on these. They aren't going to unravel around you, but I would go pulling on the seams to hard. I probably would but them again though.
Great value and breathable Chamois.
In full disclosure, I work for Gore, however I have loved these bibs since they came out. I have three pairs all over a year old and they have remained comfortable the whole time. The Chamois isn't the thickest or most padded on the market, but I prefer it that way. If you are looking for a denser, more robust seat pad I would try the Oxygen or Ozon bib shorts.
Poor Quality Bibs
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
The bibs have a chamois that is extremely uncomfortable. It was not designed properly. The center has a ridge in it that rides up in you. The quality of workmanship on the overall bib is not good at all.
Comfortable but lousy fabric
These bibs are definitely comfortable, actually amongst the most comfortable bibs i own. however the material used is substandard, especially in the perineal area. I wore these bibs 3 times, each ride about 20 miles, and the insides of the thighs at the chamois junction have just about worn through the fabric. I have a pair of the gore ozon which so far are holding up. I think its more of the fabric used on the power 2.0 rather than a brand issue. Very dissappointed with the bibs. Especially since they were so comfortable. Much props to real cyclist. they took these bibs back and refunded my money with no questions asked. Excellent customer service.
For the price point these are among the best bibs I have purchased. I used them on a metric century on their first ride, and the chamois and materials were comfy. The weather was 95ish with high humidity, and these will not cook you, either.
I am 5-9 and 192... 36+ waist and 44+ chest. The inseam and fit were spot on with a size L.
These bibs serve the purpose, but with one problem: The trim material around the straps is cheap and poorly sewn. After a couple of washings, I had to get out the needle and thread and do repairs. On better bibs, you'll find better material and it will be double stitched. For $110, you'd expect better.
These are a nice pair of shorts, well made, and I just want to confirm the fit. I am 5'10", 160-165, and they have a nice snug fit in medium. If I had gone to large, they would definitely be too big.
Great bib for the price
While it's definitely not as nice for extended road rides as some of the more expensive options out there, these are my go-to bibs for mountain biking and road rides that I think will be under 2 hours. The chamois is substantial, but stays close to your body, and feels pretty low profile in the saddle. The rest of the fabric is nice enough, and doesn't typically bother me in any way.
Great bang for the buck, and seem to really last.
Gore Power 2.0
I have had a few opportunities to use the Gore Power 2.0 bibs. I find them to be very comfortable and well constructed. I usually ride 25-35 miles and think the chamois works well for that distance. They are light weight and seem to breathe well on warm days. Construction is good as well. I am 58 160# and found the medium size to be appropriate. I do have smaller legs and waist, so the Gore bibs with a more of a European cut fit me well.
I would buy them again.
I've ridden these for about 200 miles and have had no problems with them. The material and construction are solid, and the fit is good (size M 5'11" 160#). I've had no problem with the silicone leg grippers and the chamois has been comfortable for me thus far.
Run a little small
Just got a pair of these and the Ozon bibs. I typically wear a medium and the medium Ozon fits perfect. These are too small though and will be exchanged for a large.

I'm 6'0" @ 155-160 lb and I'm wondering if a Large would be appropriate. First time looking for bibs, not sure what to do with sizing.
You're about my size, and I wear a Medium in the Power Bibs.
I'd start there, and if it feels totally wrong, you can always have faith in realcyclist.com's exchange policy.
Hope that helps,
