Why We Like The Yeti 1000X Power Station + Boulder 100 Briefcase Solar Generator Kit
The Yeti 1000X Solar Kit With Boulder 100 Briefcase combines Goal Zero's most versatile power station with a solar panel to charge it whether we're camping, fishing, hunting, or using it in the backyard. Its portable design, 1000-wattage battery, and 1500W AC inverter ensure enough juice for power-hungry devices and electronics, even when we're away from home. Goal Zero upgraded the 1000X with a USB-C port for faster charging, and the integrated MPPT enhances charge time from the Boulder 100 Briefcase.
While the Yeti 1000X can be powered by our home and car's electricity, we know why this kit is the more appealing option. Earth-friendly solar energy enters the included Boulder 100 Briefcase solar panel, producing power and storing it in this ultra-powerful power station. With Goal Zero's ingenious tech, this solar energy can power our glamp-site, fire up tools without the use of an extension cord, and keep our devices charged while we're on the road.

Yeti 1000X + Boulder 100 BC Solar
I've just returned from 2 weeks Travel Trailer camping with the Yeti 1000X + Solar Panels, the Yeti worked great to charge 2 Mtn EBikes 3-4 X’s, Heated Vest batteries & other accessories. I can see that if you had limited sun input the charger would still give you multiple charges on several different type units…LoveiT

Great for power inside our travel van
This is just right for running the fridge and fan using two 100 watt solar panels mounted on the top of the van. It is not enough for much cooking but ok for heating a few coos of water. The size and weight of the Yeti 1000x is just right for moving it in the house during freezing weather.

Checks all the boxes for off the grid adventures
Currently nomadic in the Wild West and never have to worry about being without power for laptops, cameras, phones, drones, etc. charges fast via the sun(with panels) or ac adapters.

Not great in the winter
This battery came in my Scout yoho camper. I have had to get it replaced 2 times in the first year. It also does not function well in the cold which sucks for a 4 season camper. They do not have battery blankets or cooler options yet. Looking forward to trying another brand like Bluetti

Works very well, happy that I spent the money.
I wanted to actually try this Yeti 1000 out before I wrote a review . We went to an off grid cabin,I took this Yet I 1000 to run an oscillating fan. It performed well, ran the fan for 4 nights ,about 9 hours each night and still had 22% left, not enough left for another night but close. But if you want a review on a well used Yet I,let me tell you about our Yeti 400. My wife has sleep apnea and has to have a Bi-Pap to sleep nightly. She ran an eight to ten year old Yeti 400 (with 2 additional batteries) for 9 hours a night for four nights and still had 60% left. She drew power thru the DC port, not the AC. These 3 total batteries are all lead acid and at least eight years old, maybe as much as ten. This system gets used quite frequently as it is due to the remoteness if our home in the Appalachians. Over the years I have bought 2 boulder 100 panels, numerous lite house lanterns, the Yet I 400 and now the Yeti 1000 and do not regret buying any of these products. You can find cheaper power stations and solar panels from other companies but if you want something to depend on buy it from Goal Zero. I am proof of thier quality.

Great Product
Got the 1000x primarily to power my Dometic fridge/freezer while overlanding and it will last for 3-4+ days depending on conditions. Excellent balance between bulk, weight and capabilities. Needed some recalibration early on but easy to do. Highly recommend.

Good system, but….
Great overall battery system and it was a fairly good fit for my needs but…. If I was able to find more info about this battery prior to purchasing I would have stepped up to the 1500X instead, but there were limited reviews and videos available on the 1000X. Also I purchased this in a kit with a boulder 100 briefcase. Which I found to be severely disappointing with charge times with the 1000X. For the cost on 1 boulder 100 briefcase I was able to purchase a portable 400 watt panel setup which is far better and LIGHTER. Than the GZ kit.

Overland Camping
My wife and I just took our new Goal Zero out for a 4 day off grid camping trip. It worked great. I have to use a CPAP and it never went below 63%. We hooked the solar up and on a cloudy day we got it back to 91% charged. We have a overland teardrop camper. And we used it for everything except our ARB fridge/freezer. If you like to take your rig off the beaten path this is a great investment.
