    This choice is a no-brainer.

The Gnu Asym Ladies Choice Snowboard delivers a balanced, intuitive ride to help you conquer every aspect of the mountain. Its medium flex and versatile profile make it capable of taking on everything from park to steeps, and the asymmetric design makes the board respond to your every command so you can take your snowboarding to the next level. A deeper heelside sidecut and an asym flex make your heelside turns as powerful and natural feeling as your toeside turns, which not only improves heelside edge hold when you're carving, but also helps grip icy halfpipe walls and wind up for frontside spins off jumps.

Gnu gave it the more aggressive C2 profile for enhanced power and response, while Magne-Traction edges slice through ice like it's fresh corduroy to help you lay down high-speed carves and stomp tricks on icy landing. Silky Smooth Bio Fibers have also been added to the layup for less chatter and fatigue. Aspen runs down the middle of the core to give it strength, while a blend of poplar and Paulownia on the toe edge cuts weight, and Paulownia on the heel edge provides a smooth, responsive feel. UHMW sidewalls ensure durability, and the upgraded sintered base glides fast and takes a beating. It's also made in the USA by snowboarders with jobs, so you can feel good knowing that the people who built this masterpiece know exactly what they're doing.

    • Asym all-mountain freestyle weapon dreamed up by Jamie Anderson
    • Asymmetrical for a more natural, efficient, less tiring ride
    • C2 camber profile is aggressive, poppy, and stable

    • Tri-blend wood core is lighter, but with strength and snap
    • Silky Smooth Bio fibers reduce chatter and impact on environment
    • Sintered base is equal parts tough and fast

    Great Board!

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

"The ladies choice is the perfect all mountain freestyle board. This is a true “do everything” snowboard. The C2X camber profile is extremely stable for a rocker dominant shape, but still playful enough to press and butter. The mid stiff flex is perfect for a daily driver, offering the perfect balance of stability and playfulness. The highlight of this board is it’s magne-traction edges. If you are worried about slipping out on ice, you won’t on this board. It rides switch beautifully, and is very stable on takeoffs and landings. The asymmetric side cut is an added bonus, making heel side carves a breeze. Powder is not this board’s strength, so if you are looking for a board that slays powder you might want to look elsewhere. It rides powder ok, but ride in 18 inches of snow and your back leg will be burning. The small sample of rails and boxes I’ve done have felt fine, and landings off jumps feel effortless and stable. If you are looking to carve the whole mountain, shred around switch, and hit the terrain park, then this board is for you. "
