Garmin’s new Vivoactive 4 is in many ways one of the best support systems available to us in these rapid, get-it-done-now days. How we managed throughout any given day used to be entirely subjective. And while our own interpretations and feelings still matter, the Vivofit 4 and its plethora of built-in features provide informative, motivating, objective data to your day. Underneath the refined Gorilla glass and updated bezel, this always-on health and fitness wearable serves as a powerful diet, sleep, hydration, wellness, and fitness coach, as well as your on-the-spot personal secretary. And peeling away at the plethora of analytics built into the Vivoactive, you'll find its primary focuses are providing valuable data to you based on the lifestyle you are leading, and working you towards more mindful goal setting to achieve the lifestyle you want.
Sleep is still a mystery to most of us, but the Vivoactive 4 dives right into crucial sleep cycle data like light, deep, and REM sleep cycle quality to help you take full advantage of nature's best restorative feature. Stay on top of fluid intake with the hydration tracking feature before getting to those morning workouts. For novice exercisers or those of us that just need some tips on a new workout, an abundance preloaded and guided yoga, Pilates, or even custom animated workouts are on-hand (or on-wrist, actually). Keep pushing for PRs on your recreation loop the Vivoactive 4 has GPS tracking of over twenty preloaded sports, such as swimming, indoor running, and cycling. If you feel that you may have pegged it too hard in the morning workout or maybe feel like hitting that two-a-day session, check in with the Body Battery Energy function to see live details on your energy levels and total stress accumulations. And for adventurous weekends that inspire solo trail rides and runs, the built-in safety and tracking features can broadcast your location to connected contacts for peace of mind. The Vivoactive 4 is a feature packed, confidence-inspiring smart watch for an active lifestyle.

Durable Watch
This is my first Garmin watch. Great sensors and workout features. I came from a Galaxy watch. The Galaxy may be more smart watch, but the Garmin has better stats that I care about. This watch is very durable, almost too durable. I intend to buy the Garmin Venu 3 once this Vivoactive 4 does, but I may have to wait a while, ha. Overall, I enjoy the watch.

Easy functions
I purchased this product just 2 weeks ago and love it. It syncs easily to my sensors/phone. The touch functions are easy to use and the font is large enough to read w/o my glasses.

Better in the past
I was happy when i brought it two years ago. I was able to set my race strategy. I can’t do it anymore.

Worked fine until the last update.
Garmin have a good reputation for quality products and the Vivoactive 4 has been my main watch until the last automatic update. Now it WILL NOT TURN ON. The same thing happened to my wifes vivoactive 4. Both are now unusable. We have tried all possible workarounds but now considering another brand.

Professor Noman
While initially excited about this device based on positive reviews, I found it disappointing overall. The GPS connection is consistently unreliable during my runs, causing frustration. Most notably, the device completely shut down on the day of my first-ever marathon, leaving me feeling terribly disappointed. Additionally, the battery life falls short of expectations, requiring frequent recharging. Despite the glowing reviews, my experience suggests that they may not accurately reflect the device's performance.

With Clarity, I can see why I need to move more.
I bought a Vivoactive 4 a few years ago. It died. I spent time (get it) grieving. And then the nice Kansas Garminians offered to exchange my late watch for a retooled one. Hooray. I now have the watch I dream of to push me to do more.

Love the watch
I only wear this watch for events like walking, hiking, yoga, and running. I don't wear 24/7 like most probably do. I love it and its options for my needs.
