Comfortable car camping tent

Great tent. Easy enough setup. Feels very roomy. Multiple people can easily stand up and get dressed in this tent at the same time. The square footprint makes it ideal for cots or an air mattress.

It does what it does well

This is a fantastic tent. The price is right, it held up really well to some light hail and some really strong gusts in my camping trip. Setup is really easy and the height is fantastic to use. My only complaints are small ones that I would not necessarily expect at this price point. I wish there were more pockets in the tent for storage, and the little ones in the corners were touching a part of the tent where water would seep through if you touched it so things in those pockets needed to be water proof or you could not use them. Otherwise, for the money this tent can't be beat!

Jade Canyon X4 Tent Exceeded Expectations

After considerable research and talking to many tent owners, I bought the Jade Canyon X4 tent for myself and my two sons to use for camping trips. Living in south Texas, I was especially concerned with ventilation issues. After having used the tent in the hot Texas summer, I can say without a doubt that this tent exceeded our expectations. Also, it is easy to set up and take down. I have also used this tent in a rain storm and we stayed dry and experienced no issues with water leaks. The text is very spacious and the best part is that you can stand up inside. I highly recommend the Jade Canyon X4 to anyone think about purchasing a tent for family camping.

Summer Camp Tent

I bought this tent as a replacement/upgrade to my Eureka Sunrise 9 that I have been using for Boy Scout Summer camp for many years. With the more vertical sides, his tent has greater volume, less curves, and greater height compared to the Sunrise. The tent is more complicated than the Sunrise with the additional poles, but that is what gives it the volume. As such, in potentially windy situations, I will use the additional ropes to help secure the tent down. Was a little surprised to see the windows are held up by little toggles in lieu of a zipper, but the design appears to be water tight, and should be a lot quieter than zippers. Went with the Jade Canyon over the Copper Canyon because of the thicker material and higher quality poles, since I plan on using this tent for many years of summer camp. I will still use a plastic ground cloth underneath, and the fitted footprint inside, to help take care of the floor and get many years of use out of this tent. This is my 4th Eureka tent, as I still use my Eureka Backpacking tent I purchased 30+ years ago.

So Roomy!

This has tall walls, lots of vented windows so it is perfect for summer and autumn in southern California and its mountains. One person can set it up, if folds small and lightweight for car camping! We have used it three times already and it holds up wonderfully. I am a newbie camper, but my seasoned camper friends all love it also.

Great Standing Height Tent!

Love the height, easy to pitch. Directions could be a little better.

Car camping luxury!

We extensively researched tents when looking for a bigger version than our old “”4 person”” Coleman Flatwoods. We wanted a tent that we could not only stand up in, but was quality. We had never heard of Eureka tents and were skeptical. Im SO glad we got this tent. It was our home on a two week car camping trip and was put up, taken down, and moved almost every day. It is ridiculously easy to put up & down. Im talking one person, two minutes tops. The poles are THICK, sturdy, and a beautiful bright color. Really quality design and SO spacious. The flap windows concerned me originally but they work great in use. Love customizing the open window shape with the various window “latches”. We had rain over a few days and the tent stayed dry. I was impressed. My onnnly complaint is that the floor is a little thinner than my old coleman, however it may be nicer material. Overall, we love our Jade Canyon and are extremely pleased with our choice!

Looks Good!

I haven't gone camping in the tent yet. I just set it up in my backyard. It set up relatively easy and looks like it will be great. I think I just regret not having gotten the 6 person size.

Easy and breezy

Was hesitant to purchase this tent, because it is new and there was not much info on it other than what is posted by the company. However, their videos were helpful and I pulled the trigger. This tent replaces a large dome tent that my family used for car camping. It went up very quickly. It has high-quality poles. It rained, but there were no issues with water because of the vertical sides to the tent. The big windows allow lots of airflow, so we were comfortable even after a 90-degree day in late May. Only quibble - it is hard to roll up due to the plastic pole receivers, and the bag it comes in is a little thin.

Best Tent I've Ever Owned

This is the best tent I've ever owned. The standing height is amazing when changing clothes and my dog likes it way more than dome tents. I used it in a damp environment with light rain and the inside was perfectly dry and still ventilated. The floor is thick enough that my dogs nails won't rip it. The set-up was very fast even doing it solo and takedown was easy as well. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and will reccomend this tent to anyone.
