Wailer 99 Pure3 Ski

There's no shortage of mid-sized all-mountain skis in the industry today, but few, if any, share the same progressive geometry, feather-light construction, and torsionally stiff feel of the DPS Wailer 99 Pure3 Ski. Designed and built in the long shadow of Utah's Wasatch Range, the Wailer 99s feature DPS' award-winning Pure3 Carbon + Nano construction, which places pure pre-preg carbon fiber laminates above and below a light and powerful aspen wood core, making the skis ridiculously light and 30 percent more torsionally stiff than traditional sandwich constructed planks.

Whether it's boot-top powder, recrystallized loud pow, wind buffed conditions, or a strictly groomer kind of day, the Wailer 99s will be your go-to boards thanks to their long, gradual rocker in the tip, camber underfoot, and a lightly rockered tail. The rockered tip makes for effortless turn initiation and a bit of buoyancy in soft snow, while the cambered mid section allows for long, arcing turns down groomers and wind-buffed faces once the skis are laid on edge. Since all-mountain schralping often carries with the inevitable rocky mountain love tap from rocks and sticks, the Wailer 99s features wide profile Rockwell 48 steel edges, as well as fast and hard World Cup race bases, so you won't blow up your boards with the first rock you make contact with.
