amazing back saver!
I have horrible shoulder/neck/back problems and every backpack or bag that lays across my shoulders hurts after a short period of time. this doesn't hurt at all I love it sm :') I'm petite 5'2 and it definitely takes up my lower torso area but I love it

Overall good and functional with annoying glitches
I have been using the hip pack for 3 weeks now on a trip to Greece: archeological sites, beach, city walks, public transport, car and 3 year old toddler. I bought it to make it easier for me and my son to drink water while walking about. It has worked well for that, as well as holding my wallet, phone and few small trinkets. Strong and sturdy, I can roll it to the front or back easily and beautiful to look at. The most annoying for me is that the magnetic-held mouthpiece fits right on my hip and as I walk, my arm knocks it off, tube comes dangling out and the mouthpiece is free to get dirty and get stuck in things. Second annoying thing is that with the bladder full, it is hard to even open the pack's main zipper and get anything in or out of it, so you end up not really filling it up. I would still buy it again but must confess that sometimes I'd rather just hold my wallet/phone in my hand for quick things because it becomes a bit cumbersome and heavy.

Love the pack! Drinking hose attachment not size-inclusive
Did a medium (lol) amount of research looking for a hip pack and landed on this one! Love that it has a bladder, padded belt. Perfect functionality for a day hike with a dog, when I need to carry dog essentials and basic emergency hike stuff, snacks, phone, wallet, water. Planning to bring it to Europe for some hiking and will use it on the plane. So much better for my back then a backpack. I also have sensitive skin, so I like that I don't have to deal with the rubbing, and weight, and sweat on my back/shoulders that a backpack causes. I agree with other reviewers that the way the drinking hose attaches does not make it size-inclusive.

Love it!
Wore it hiking today for the first time. Really comfortable across my hips and back. Able to carry everything I needed. Only complaint-no instructions for filling the bladder. Don’t be embarrassed to need to watch a YouTube video!

I was shocked to figure
I was shocked to figure out how much space this hip pack has. There is enough space for camera, 2 books, phone, thermos, brush and sunglasses. Just wow. It very convenient if you are travelling via plane and you have to much stuff in your luggage. You can just put a lot of thing in this hip pack. Water bladder is amazing as well, I want carry any bottles any more

Best day pack!
Everyone is different, but I wore this for an 8.5 mile hike in Hawaii and it was perfect for my water and food needs, without the discomfort on my neck and shoulders. I’m thrilled I found it and can’t wait to use it more.

Short Tube
While browsing the Cotopaxi website I saw this unique water pack and decided to try it. I took it for a test ride last weekend and found it to be very comfortable for shifting the water weight to my hips, alleviating back and shoulder pain that my mini-pack causes, and the large and small pockets were great for storing my hiking essentials. The waist strap is a good size and easily adjustable. My one complaint is that the water tube wraps around the front of your waist and connects to the strap with a magnet, however the tube itself is not long enough to wrap comfortably around my waist/upper hips area. If it was longer by even three inches, it would be more comfortable to wear for people like me who are more full figured. This would be a great option for buyers on the website. Instead it rides up to just under my ribcage and then gets in my way, and pops free from the magnet. I'll be looking for a replacement tube that's longer, hopefully that exists!
