Best I've ever had !!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive been wearing these shoes daily for a year now. I wrangle Middle School Phys Ed students in them, Hiked in 8 National Parks ( Smokey Mt, Yellowstone, Glacier, Mt Rainer, Olympic, Redwoods, Lassen Volcanic, Grand Canyon ) and out ran a Grizzly in them at Glacier !!!!! Actually by it's grace it quit chasing me and my wife at some point, Never looked back and must have scared it off with all the yelling and screaming while in retreat Lol, although not funny at the time ! Just glad Im still here to tell the story. As for the shoe they are lightweight, great traction lugs and quick drying. When these shoes have reached their final destination I am going to retire them to the fireplace mantle as a reminder of all the places they took me and the lifetime memories. I plan to acquire another pair soon I like them that much ! They are like an old friend who have been with me every step of the way so to speak. I also ski using the Columbia Titanium Jacket and Pants and Fish in the Columbia PFG, all performing exceptionally well !!! Ok Columbia here's my pitch , Im going to be retiring from teaching for 30 yrs in 2025 and Im going to be needing a part time job, maybe a spokesman , commercials, Field Tester, Coffee maker, Anything ! What do ya say Columbia, Im waiting to here back from you. In the meantime I will be continue to use my Columbia gear that has always kept me safe, dry and warm through all my romps with Mother nature. Thank you for engineering such fine products, Godspeed

Solid long lasting shoe

I have been wearing these shoes for about a year. I would buy them again. I do a lot of trail walking and average about 3 miles a day roughly. They can be rugged, but clean them up and you are ready to hit the tavern. I have not even gotten a tear in these shoes. Very impressed. My only complaint is the tongue. It moves and many times it slides to the side. I have had to make some alterations to help that. That was annoying but it is only one shoe. So it could be my foot or the way that foot walks. who knows but the alter worked.

Like the shoes. The laces are a pain.

Purchased about a year ago. Very comfortable used for walking around, not hiking. Only complaint is about the laces. They are too long and VERY slippery. They tend to unlace themselves when walking unless extra twists and knots placed when I tie them, and eventually it happens anyway.

Perfect for grounds/tennis court maintenance

I bought these shoes from a local retailer 8 months ago and they have held up fantastically. I work everyday on clay tennis courts and surrounding greens at a Country club. The abuse from the court materials and grounds maintenance have not phased the performance of these hikers at all. They keep my feet very dry and comfortable. Have gotten my feet wet once when I slipped into a retention pond. the shoes dried before my socks did. The only negative issue is that the insole is getting a little thin as of late.

These last forever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've worn these at work every day for the last year and they still have a lot of life left. I work in wireless comms and I'm always going out to jobsites and the outdoors. they have been very comfortable.

Not True to Fit

I have a narrow foot. These shoes are advertised as true to fit. Not even close. Way to constrictive and promptly returned.

Work Shoes

I work in a cooler/freezer, 12+ hours a day, and they are the best! Comfortable, durable, I’d say about 90% slip resistant. But they get the job done! Only negative is the laces become undone easily. I’ve had them for about a year and I’m about to purchase my next.

Do not buy !

I bought these because I needed a black pair of shoes for working security at sporting events. Very slippery on the arena concourse hallways and I almost fell more than once. These shoes are also very unforgiving on your feet after an hour . These are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn and I wish I could get a refund !
