Factory inserts slide back/ride up over the heel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've bought at least a dozen shoes from Columbia over the years. I like the technology and fit very much. I bought two pair of Crestwood hiking boots, replacing others i had already bought and worn out. However these two pairs have a design flaw. The factory insert moves back and rides up over my heel, hurting me. I finally had to stop using them entirely. I had to stop many times per day, to take the shoes off and jam the insert down into the front of the shoe. So, two of the same items with the same issue. I could go to a cobbler and have him glue them down, or try to buy aftermarket inserts but this seems silly when the factory inserts are designed for the shoe, and should not move as they do. Unfortunately I had them in boxes for a long time, and the warranty is no longer valid. I will continue to be a Columbia shoes buyer, but this was definitely one subpar experience..

Awesome shoe!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't usually like to buy shoes without trying them on but I took a chance on these. Very comfortable and should be a great warm weather hiker. The fit is just right on me and I like how my ankles don't rub like a lot of other low cut shoes.

I live in these shoes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Walk, hike, life and then gets demoted to garage/garden pair after a min of 6 months of fancy life. About 3 miles a day with dog walking, and every other think life brings supporting comfortable and looks good. So after 6-9 months of daily abuse they show their age and tread starts getting flat. then they move to garage/garden duty. for another 6-9 months.

Hopefully as good as the last time
