These are great water shorts; I recently went on a family camping trip on a lake, and wore these every day for 3 days straight. They handled everything from flipping jet skis, diving off rocks, and making s'mores around the campfire, and they looked good doing it. Not a fan of the mesh liner, but that can easy be cut out if you want. I really appreciated the zippered back pocket, kept me from losing anything in the water. I still think Baggies are better, but I really loved the pattern on these.
