Ready for the harshest days of winter.

Our neighbors to the north know a thing or two about keeping warm in the winter, proof being the Canada Goose Women's Chilliwack Bomber. This Canada Goose classic features a bomber style that’s just the thing for a window-shopping expedition in a mountain resort village, while the Chilliwack’s premium down insulation and luxurious, frost-proof coyote hood trim stand up to frigid winds on an exposed sleigh ride. A tough DWR finish on the soft, quiet shell fabric repels melting snowflakes, while a storm flap across the heavy-duty zipper and beefy rib-knit cuffs keep out drafts. When the temperatures drop, your fingers can find a cozy hideout inside the fleece-lined handwarmer pockets.

I am 170 cm, 120 kg. So what size will suit me? I am confused, I want to have one that is perfect!

I'm 6' tall (182cm) and about 130lbs (58kg).. Any recommendations on sizing? I almost always have trouble with length as you can imagine.

I'm intending on wearing this jacket all winter for everyday & snowboarding but I'm not sure if sizing up too much or getting a men's size would make me look too boxy.

    Help!

Since you are tall and usually have trouble with length you might want to just opt for one of their other styles. (I am not particularly tall at 5'8" but have a long torso, I found the length of the coat and the sleeves to be a little shorter than I'd like.)

I wonder how heavy it is. I have a Canada Goose Expedition Down Parka and it is heavy to carry it around in door. If this Chilliwack is lighter, I want to get it!

My friend got this jacket (from a different retailer) and the sleeves were very thin compared to my Expedition parka. Also the one she got was tight across the back shoulers. (SHe's a size 4, but got a size medium in women's to accommodate some layering.) Is this jacket supposed to have less down stuffing in the sleeves compared to the Expedition parka (around half the thickness) and does it run very small through the back shoulders or did my friend get a counterfeit? I'm interested in getting another Canada Goose jacket, one that's a bit shorter than the Expedition parka, but don't know if I should order this style or select another style. IF this is the way it's supposed to be, can you reccommend antoher style that would be shorter than the Expedition parka, but still REALLY warm? Thanks in advance for your insight and advice.

I just bought this jacket in white. I love it, but am a little worried about it getting dirty. Did I read something about the fabric being stain resistant?

I found this on Canada Goose's website:

LORO PIANA STORM SYSTEM The Loro Piana Storm System® fabric comprises a double barrier:

The Rain System® water repellent treatment for the face of the fabric, where an invisible treatment wraps each fibre so that drops of water bead away from the surface, in addition to protecting the face of the fabric from dust, dirt and liquid stains.
The exclusive hydrophilic membrane laminated on the back of the fabric to create a lightweight, elastic, water repellent, yet perfectly breathable membrane.

This applied membrane layer is without pores and follows the principle of osmosis; taking any moisture created inside the fabric to the outside, while simultaneously prohibiting the entry of humidity.

Do you know if there is much of a size difference between the large and the x-l? I tried on a large in a store in Montreal and it was too tight. I could do it up and it felt comfortable in the shoulder and chest area but it was tight around the waist. I am thinking of ordering one online but don't want to get one that is too small. Hi Julia,

I actually just came back from an actual store and tried on the jackets for sizing. I agree with the other lady there saying they tend to run a bit smaller in size.

I'm 5'7, 143lbs and a 38DD-F and I found that Large was a comfortable fit, with enough space for movement whereas the Medium was definitely fit to the tee--short on the sleeves and waist.
I would go for a Large--Last thing you want is to look like an overly stuff burrito which is what I looked like in that Medium. Though, it's your call.

If you are considering the longer style like the Trillium, a Medium would work fine. The Bomber style runs smaller than the Regular lengths.

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers!

    Can the hood look normal?
The picture shows it being very long necked, which is probably terrific for extreme weather but less useable in less extreme. I'd like the hood to have a bit more of face showing. I'd love a picture if this is possible! thank you!!

    Hey,
I'm 5"3 and 115 lbs and 34 b bust. Would the small be a good fit? Online it says that it measures 38 around the bust on a small, but everyone says that they run small:(. I'm pretty confused. Should I go for a small or an xsmall?

    Thanks:)

I have almost the exact same measurements as you, i believe i'm about 109 lbs, and i tried a small on and it was perfect! so i would go for the small definately, and i tried it on with a hoodie underneath and it fit the best even with it!

I'm almost 5'5 and 118 pounds. I just bought a Women's CG Chilliwack Parka in Brown - size S. I bought the jacket for function not fashion and the size S doesn't ride up my back, which the Chilliwack is known for, and I have lots of room in the sleeves to pull the cuff over my mitts.

Where it is big is through the body and chest, easily 4-6 inchs of overlap. If you want a tight, city jacket and don't mind it sitting high on the waist I would recommend the XS. if you are looking for a jacket to wear while doing winter sports, to feel warm and cozy on those extremely cold winter days go for the S.

NOTE: I haven't tried on the XS to compare it to my S.

if i am 5'10 with say a chest size of about 4 would it be better for me to get a medium or a large?

I just went to try a large and it doesn't fit...the arms are too short again and torso a bit too short as well...and I'm 5'9.... I'm very sad..I will look for XL if there are some somewhere!

Sorry, is for a 5.10.5 height, 144 pounds weight a M the right fit? Or should i go for a S?Thanks

Definitely not a small. I'm 5'6 and fluctuate between 135-140lbs and tried on the mediums at a tradeshow and they were great. It might be a little big through the shoulders for you, but you'll want the extra length. This is a bomber style jacket and by nature of that styling, a bit short. Hope this helps!
