Brooks Ghost 16
I love the comfort of the ghost 16 but wish you had more colors in 11 4E men’s,

Out of the Box
Another great release, after starting with Ghost 12s so many years ago up until this release the constant tweaking and adjustments continues to improve the running and stable comfort. Love that these can be strapped on out of the box and complete a nice long run!!! Keep up the great work.

Toe Box bends
I was so excited that Brooks was finally coming out with the Ghost 16 to replace the awful Ghost 15. I've been wearing Ghosts for 6 years and LOVED them until the Ghost 15 would crease at the toe (this is a thing, google it) and I was so hopeful that this issue would get fixed with the Ghost 16, but to my dismay, 2 hours into wearing these shoes it happened again. So, if your toes like getting stabbed by bent plastic while walking/running, then these are the shoes for you! And if like me, you're not in that unique group of people, then it looks like you're going to have to find a different shoe.

Still like 'em - but run a lil large
Been a Ghost guy forever...I still like these...but they run a little big - as an FYI to those considering the shoe.

Super comfortable
This is the first pair of Brooks that I have ever bought and they are super comfortable. Will definitely buy Brooks again.

Favorite Ghosts
Since I began running, I have owned the Ghost 12's thru 15's and have to say the 16's are my favorite. The Ghosts have always fit my feet perfectly and provide comfort right out of the box. There definitely seem to be a few noticeable changes on the 16's compared to previous models. The main thing I noticed, was the wider mid-sole which I actually like because the shoe seems to have even more stability than previous models. The Ghosts have always been super breathable even in the summer months and the 16's seem to have added additional mesh which provides even more breathability. The Ghosts might not be flashy like Hoka or Saucony (which I have tried in the past and neither worked for me) but the Ghosts are reliable and always provide a great feel on my runs (typically run 30-40 miles per week). Everyone's feet are different, so I would take all reviews with a grain of salt and find a shoe that is comfortable, provides breathability and support. Stick with that shoe and push your limits!

Cheapening makes for a less durable product.
I own 3 pair of Brooks Ghost, the 12,13 and 14. I do like them as they fit well and are comfortable and supportive. What I don't like is the change Brooks made between the 12 and the 13. I noticed my 12s are holding up fine and they get the hardest use and are the oldest. The 13 and 14s which get light use, the inner linning behind the heel and achilles are ripping out. Upon inspection I noticed the 12s have a section of heavier material in that area which was eliminated in the 13 and 14s. Come on Brooks you have a good product, don't cheap out and ruin it or I will have to look elsewhere.

So far great running shoe
Started getting into running a little bit in the fall of last year and just started back up in April. Just a casual runner to be in better shape right now I’m running a little over an 5k every other morning. I started with and had the Nike Pegasus 40 before these shoes. Just to be clear I have not had these shoes long and have only done 5 runs in them so far so my review probably doesn’t help with how the shoe is in the long run. So far between the two I do like the ghost 16 better than when I first got my Pegasus 40 last year. The ghost 16 feels like a better quality made shoe imo. It doesn’t feel too wide or too narrow fits pretty great to my feet actually. If I had to pick something out I don’t like about it so far I would say the only gripe about it is my left big toe was rubbing a bit first couple of runs it hurt and bruised a bit but that went away the more I used the shoe. I do all my runs in the early mornings and in this shoe so far I’ve only run in temps anywhere between 40 F and 60 F and also 2 of the runs in the rain. You will get your socks wet obviously if you run in the rain pretty sure no running shoe is waterproof but as for the grip in the rain it wasn’t much different than you running in dry weather which was nice. So yeah wish I could say more maybe if I remember I’ll come back and add to this after wearing it for more runs.

Had high hopes
I applaud the team for trying something different with the ghost 16. I think the comfort was my main disappointment from the 16. The Ghost 15 was much more comfortable but unfortunately my color and size is sold out. Also, the 16 felt much tighter in the toe box. Nice try but didn’t work for me.
