Great cushioning
If what you want it lots of cushioning, then these are the shoes for you. I feel like I’m running on a pair of miniature trampolines!

My first pair of trail shoes and couldn’t be happier! I’ve run in Brooks road shoes for a few years and recently moved to an area with direct access to trails. The Caldera provide the same fit/comfort as my road shoes but with the added reassurance of stability and grip on trail terrain. I’m delighted with them and the ability they are giving me to explore the local terrain.

Picked these up as a replacement for my Speedgoat 4’s. Did not disappoint. Great cushion and confident stability on the trail runs.

I wanted a trail shoe to compliment my Glycerin GTS 21s. I had to go a full size up as the size12 toe box is narrow and shallow. As there is no 2e width available I was unable to get a good fit as the 13 was too long and unable to get a good lockdown. Very disappointed with the fit of this shoe - beware the sizing!

Aggressive looking trail shoe
Very stable , nice and tight . Lots of cushion, very good grip . Once dirty they stay looking dirty . But very good for trail running

Good feel.
Caldera 7 is is the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Use it mainly for walking and everyday shoe. As a every day shoe the cosmetics are little loud. Would prefer a little darker base color. I did order the lighter color as well. But returned it. Because for trail it will show dirt.

Caldera 6
Sorry ,bought caldera 6 from a shop in Keswick , absolutely love them. Do you have the same type of shoe or boot as the 6 but waterproof?

Super comfy
I was super excited to get through to the last run in the couch 2 5k and awarded myself a new version of the Caldera, which was super comfortable and gave me wings! Unfortunately my calves weren’t ready for wings and I knackered my solgus muscles. No running for me.

First Impressions…
First Impressions… These shoes look and feel great. I previously had the Altra Timp 5s and the Altra Mont Blancs. Both Altra shoes didn’t feel comfortable after long miles. These however feel like they can last a while. I run on the road with the Adrenaline GTSs and love those because of the support and cushion. I always thought my feet were relatively flat and I over pronated but recently got my feet scanned/gait analyzed and that’s not the case. I highly recommend seeking this out before buying any shoe. Anyways, these are only my first impressions of the Caldera 7s but so far they feel great and supportive. Even with all of the cushion I still feel the ground and feel in control of each step. I only have a couple of miles (road miles) so I will update when I get mire mileage under my belt with these, especially trail miles.

Chose a men’s size for my woman’s foot and the width provided what my podiatrist required. Perfect result.
