Whether you're climbing in finals at a local competition or trying to send your hardest sport route yet, the Boreal Synergy Climbing Shoe is ready to offer you sensitivity and responsiveness so you can move make moves with confidence. The synthetic upper features a strap closure to comfortably cradle your foot, while the lining ensures your shoes won't become overly stretched and sloppy. When the hardest move on your route involves a techy toe hook, you'll appreciate that the rand and toe patch are one single piece, with extra rubber on the toe, giving you the friction and feel you need.
Boreal eliminated the midsole in the Synergy for a soft, flexible feel that gives you responsiveness when you're pushing down on tiny footholds or standing on slippery volumes. To top it all off, the shoe has a sticky rubber sole to provide reliable friction on anything from smears to micro-edges.

I had to send them back a few times to dial in the right size and I bought them during the pandemic so I?ve only recently been able to give them a go. These were my first pair of aggressive performance shoe so it took awhile to get them broken in but I?ve been really impressed with my performance in them. They?re super comfortable out of the box so any climber used to downturned shoes won?t need near as long to break them in as I did. They do run small so I?d order at least a half size above your street size. The rubber is absolutely amazing in the gym (haven?t had them outside yet). Whether you?re smearing, edging, or heel/ toe hooking you will have the piece of mind knowing your feet are secured to the wall. In summary: These are great, I highly recommend them; they are sized quite small so be sure to upsize.
