Why We Like the Crack Climbing Glove
Black Diamond's Crack Climbing Glove gives greater protection when you're hand-jamming splitters and cracks whether it's in the desert or the alpine. Strong, breathable, synthetic suede leather in a 3D pattern provides a next-to-skin fit and crack-specific dexterity. Black Diamond instilled a rubber adhesive seamlessly to the back of the hand for greater protection and grip that doesn't interfere with dexterity or discomfort. Unlike the competition, Black Diamond's Crack Climbing Glove comes in a white color to reduce heat from the desert sun.

Great
Great gloves - love that they’re white so your hands don’t get cooked in them from the sun. Useful to reinforce around the fingers with tape if you’re jamming in stuff where these areas are going to get a bit of abuse as they do tear up here if you’re not careful. I bought the XL after trying a buddies. The size chart recommended a L for my hand size - but my fat knuckles found the XL tight for getting the gloves on and off so I’m pleased I went with the XL. Even with thin wrists the XL can be tightened enough to give a good secure fit.

Love em!
I’ve always preferred tape to crack gloves until trying these! They are thin enough not to get in the way, but do a great job of protecting your hands.

Crack Gloves
They are as thin as it can be. They only are going to protect your skin. The good thing is that you keep a good feeling on the rock but don't expect for cushoning pain free gloves.

Still need to tape...
New crack gloves: The feel very soft and comfortable. For the size, I think they run small compared to the 'OR' crack gloves. I wish they extended farther along my wrist so I didn't need to tape my wrists.

Great fit
Thin, and effective. Love their fit and thumb cover. I’m on my third pair since they’ve been released.

Best crack gloves out there!
I regularly stock up on these gloves! Love the light weight feel and thumb coverage. Everyone always thinks I'm wearing tape gloves. It's lightweight so that I can wear them on thin hands crack and it doesn't add bulk. Love the thumb coverage too. The velcro strap can come undone during repeated jamming, so I usually just put tape around it before I climb.
