When you hear rumors of snow in the mountains, whispers of powder, and plans to ski big lines, then you'll know the mountains are calling and you must go with the Black Crows Women's Corpus 3-Layer Jacket. Made with a combination of svelte French style and bombproof materials, the Corpus is everything you'd expect from a jacket that was designed in Chamonix.
The Corpus borrows it looks from vintage military fatigues, but has a style that pays homage to the French freeski scene, while the Gore-Tex shell and durable nylon face offer all the protection you need whether you're rappelling into mind-numbingly steep lines in Chamonix or dropping into your favorite powder stashes at your home dome. The mid-length parka fit is slightly longer than most jackets, offering more coverage to your lower half, and the jacket is slightly tailored through the body, so you don't feel like a big puffy blob out there. Also unique to the Corpus is a drawstring adjustable waist along with a helmet-compatible hood that can be cinched down tight once the winds start to howl. The underarms are equipped with ventilation zips, so you can shed heat quick when you're hiking to the goods off of the Aiguille du Midi.
