Glad I took a chance.

This is a really good addition to your mtb riding arsenal, especially at the price this goes for. It's heavy weight, so it's not for hot days. Had a few chances to use on warmish fall days before cooler temps came around, and it was perfect. It runs large, so you'll likely want to size down one size, but comfortable and a good fit all around. Looks good with either baggy or bibs. Disappointingly so (at least for me), the purple isn't as bright as the picture. Still over all a quality product.

I just received. Great feeling and comfortable material. Good loose fit for active wear. It's Winter here now. Will not get to tryout until Spring '23. Will report back then.

Awesome Backcountry branded MTB Jersey

I just purchased the Backcountry SS and 3/4 sleeve MTB Jerseys. At first impression, the quality of the materials are on par with competing brand jerseys such as TLD and Fox. So, this jersey gives great value. Designs are subtle and finish are excellent. I have yet to test one out but from my experience with MTB jerseys, I can tell these are made to last and perform as described. Fitting. I am in between sizes "small" and "medium" and required the assistance of a Gearhead. Alexi was very helpful and suggested a medium, and if it didn't fit, she offered me free shipping for the return. Both sizes fit me. However, I went with the size small for a more "athletic" fit and I still had room in the jersey. If you want a roomier fit and/or will be using body armor, then a medium would be better. Ultimately, the size small suited me better. I am 5'9', 155 lbs. Chest 37.5" Waist 32" Lastly, Size small jersey measures 20" in width and 28 3/4" in length from top of the back collar. Size medium jersey measures 21" in width and 30 1/4" in length.
