I can't tell you how many "where did you get those" questions? The fit is excellent, comfortable all day and I got the gray and its perfect. I ordered an XS and the fit is exactly an XS. I wish the ankle length for me is a little above the ankle, which in the summer, I don't care. Really, my go to pant all spring and summer! I wear them all the time!

I have these pants in black and grey and i love them for travel, loafing, hiking, casual, work...the list goes on. These pants are so versatile. They have a good weight to them, not too thick but not paper thin. I do wear them hiking but NOT in warm weather or remotely warm weather because i feel like they dont breath that great. The stretch is great for outdoor activities. The cut is nice and they fit well. I feel like Backcountry needs to figure out their sizing game as i am never the same size in any of their products--i am always a small up top and prefer a med for bottoms. i could be a small or large with backcountry items, so that aspect is a little annoying. in black its not as noticeable, but i also have these pants in grey and the pleats feel very 90s to me. i would say remove the pleats! the draw string is nice for cinching the pants, but i almost prefer no draw string as it adds bulk when a shirt lays over it. but thats a minor thing. love the pants. they are super comfy. the length is great on me. and they fit great for my body shape.

Really like these, great for travel-- lightweight, looks chic. I am about 5'2", 120 lbs, and ordered/kept a small. They fit fine, but I do have to cinch the waistband pretty tight. Probably could have gone with a xs.

I bought these for a camping trip and was happy I did! They are lightweight and easy to pack which helped me prep for my trip. The only thing that didn't make these perfect was the fit. I'm petite and had previously purchased this pant in XS, but was surprised at how snug that pair fit. This time around I bought a size up, but unfortunately, they're a tad too big around the waist. I still got good use out of them and when it rained, I layered them on top of leggings to make drying off faster.

Love these pants, second pair

This is my second pair of this style of pants, the first ones I got in gray. They are great for my work as an inspector, and have good pockets. As a short person, they aren't ankle pants, but are full length. I wear anywhere between 4-6 and the small is great.

The fit and cut of these pants is really nice, however the material wasn't my favorite it was almost sort of scratchy. I guess I just prefer a different type of material. I returned them before using them but I can see how these would be durable considering the material.

Love these pants so much! I have two and I will likely order more! I am a physical therapist and they are perfect for work and transitioning into a workout or the trails. I am petite, 4 ft 11 inches and around 105-110 lbs. The XS fits perfectly. Super comfortable!

These pants were everything is was hoping they?d be... they?re lightweight, fit perfectly in hips and length, and could be worn for work or workouts! I?d buy every color if they had my size. I?m just under 5?4, about 130lb, and got the size S. Perfect!

New favorite pants

I stalked these online for a while and when they went on sale decided to try them. Very comfy, lighter option to sweatpants and a little less casual than sweats. I now own 2 pair and bought a pair for my daughter. She will wear them only camping. I wear them daily and have also hiked in them. Will be great for road trips. Fabric does have a little "swoosh" sound to it when you walk but overall fabric very soft, light and stretches. I am 5'5, 130lb, my daughter is 5'7 same weight. The small fits great and length is perfect at the ankle/just above the ankle for both of us. As soon as they are clean I wear them again. Perfect for spring

I like the fit but do they soften in the wash? The fabric texture is uncomfortable just out of the bag.
