Solid but could be improved

Definitely a solid mid layer for under bibs or shell pants. My only small gripe is the waistband is not very comfortable at all. If it were a bit wider and thicker (maybe kind of like lululemon abc joggers?) it would be 5 stars plus. It?s pretty thin and that means you only feel the narrow drawcord at the waist. Had to adjust a bunch on the hill as it just didn?t feel comfortable. Does run a tad large. I would usually buy size large, bought medium due to others feedback and they were right. All in all a solid well thought out product, be really nice with better waistband.

Perfect for my intended use

I'm using these for hiking. I primarily hike in shorts (all seasons) and need something that I can quickly pull on to keep me warm at the summit or if wind picks up to unbearable levels. I like that the there's a tab at the top of the zipper (at the waistband) so that I can unzip the leg area if I need to vent. They do run a bit large but it's perfect for my intended use, because I want to be able to put them on over hiking shorts. I'm a spot-on size 34 and I'm able to pull the size large on easily and secure them sufficiently. They fit just right not too tight and not too baggy. If I were to change one thing, and again this is just for my intended use, I would reinforce the seat of them (since I'll probably be doing more sitting in them then the typical user). I also like 3/4 length because that way I can have these on while having gaiters on also.
