Blew my old inflatable out of the water!
I have owned and loved an inflatable kayak for 5 years. It was time for a new one. I tried the Oru foldup but its too bulky and unstable in my view. The technology for inflatables has improved dramatically in the last 5 years and I can’t say enough good things about the Cirrus Ultralight 110. There are no internal bladders and a rock hard inflated floor. There are three points of inflation- each side and the floor. With a new pump, I set the desired psi and in a few minutes I am done. The seat inflates with a few blows. The kayak is very ‘hard’ giving confidence, and is very stable in the water. My trusty mate (my dog) and I love it!

Light and comfortable, but…
A cool lightweight boat, but it still doesn’t track as well as anticipated for the price. We have a Chelan 155 = amazing. We were looking for a very lightweight option and hoped the Cirrus would be ideal. It is good, but not great. A lot of nose waggle with each stroke. A lot of paddle force does not propel you forward, but side to side. We have no problem steering it, but disappointed that so much force is lost due to poor tracking. Can we add another skeg/fin to the front? We added some weight to the bow and that helped a little.

LOVE THIS KAYAK!
I got my new Cirrus 110 when it first came out, received on 3/3/23. Blew it up in the house, checked it out, then threw it on the water with a 60 lb dog aboard. What a great experience! Love the dropstitch floor (this is my 3rd ds floor kayak), the flexibility of moving the seat to adjust for the dog or gear, and certainly the light weight. It maneuvers well, tracks very well for an 11' model, and is just a pretty little kayak. The smaller tubes make it so much better in the wind than some of the fatter boats. Our first few paddles were on a safe little lake and feeder creek. It handles very well in the wind, better than most other inflatables. Stood up to dog paws and took a few hits from sticks in the creek. So, of course, I had to take it on the river! With a 10-11 mph wind and 15-20 mph gusts, I was worried about an 8 mile float. But this little kayak made it very enjoyable. This was a deep river in St Louis, not one of our shallow rivers, but plenty of obstacles with current in early spring. I also have a Deschutes 110, which I absolutely love for the simplicity. But the adjustability of the Cirrus and the extra light weight (I take the floor out each time to deflate, then it's REALLY lightweight) make it a unique little kayak.
