    Get aggressive.

If you wanted to run flat, easy trails then you'd go to the park and run those smooth gravel paths, but you'd rather run in the mountains where the trails are steep, technical, and demand an aggressive shoe like the Adidas Men's Terrex Agravic GTX Shoe. Designed with high-intensity, technical trails in mind, the Agravic has an aggressive Continental rubber sole with a tread pattern cribbed from mountain bike tires. A cushy layer of EVA protects against the rocks and logs you'll encounter out on your run, while Adidas' Boost technology helps keep some extra bounce in your step during those high-mileage leg grinders. The Agravic's upper was built to put the handle on rugged terrain thanks to a combination of textile fabric and welded overlays to help add support. And since trails are rarely perfectly dry and there's almost always a chance of rain, Adidas gave the Agravic a Gore-Tex membrane to keep your feet and socks dry when you inevitably encounter moisture out there.

    • Gore-Tex waterproof and breathable membrane
    • Textile upper with welded overlays
    • Lightweight EVA tongue
    • EVA midsole with Boost energy return technology

    Nice looking, waterproof shoe

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

Thumbs up mostly across the board:
+ light weight for a waterproof shoe
    + love the Gortex
+ like the styling, and got several compliments after wearing the shoes only four times
+ good grip on the soles

    - my feet did get sweaty in these shoes. They’re not particularly breathable, but that comes with territory for GTX shoes.
    - the styling isn’t for everyone, but of course you get what you see here.

    Durable

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

These shoes are so great. I wear them to work every day, and they hold up well. I have to buy a pair every 2 years, but this is with everyday rough use. They are lightweigt, waterproof, and breathable. One of my favorite shoes. True sizing.

    Shoe Review

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Height: 6'2"
    • Weight: 215lbs

Wore them around once. Feel good. Better than my current trail running shoes. They should be good on the trail.

    One of my favorites

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Great fit, easy to snug laces, and loads of traction. I've always been a fan of Adidas shoes so having an outdoor shoe that uses Gore-Tex and their Boost sole checks almost all the boxes for me. The Conti outsole is sticky and is the same tread pattern as their Trail King tire so that just adds a cool factor to it (unless it starts to wear just as fast as the tires do).

    Quality Shoe

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 11
    • Height: 5'11"
    • Weight: 190lbs

You can tell this is a quality shoe with quality materials as soon as you put it on. It's pretty sturdy and almost feels like a lightweight boot. I really want to give it five stars... but it has two issues. 1. The toe box is way too small so it scrunches your toes together. 2. The tongue is just weird - it folds down underneath the side of the shoe on each side and rubs the top sides of your foot weird. I don't know what they were thinking when they designed the tongue.
Fix those two issues and I would love it!

Nice Trail Shoe | Stiff Construction

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: 11
    • Height: 6'2"
    • Weight: 200lbs

Been wearing these for a few months, and they are a good trail shoe, but quite different from the minimalist shoes I have been using the past few years.

They are quite stiff: took a couple of weeks to break in. While you don't "feel" the ground as much as minimalist shoes, they grip and function very nicely.

I am in the Seattle area, trail run almost daily indict, mud, rocks, roots.

    Comfortable, great fit and waterproof!

These are my go-to winter sneakers. Since the Addidas Terrex Agravic GTX has a Gore-Tex membrane, you won't have to worry about accidentally stepping in puddles and wetting out your sneakers. The Continental tread is excellent in snow and does better than most on ice. I wear these to do everything in the winter - running, snowblowing and at the office, they are my favorite winter sneaker. I typically wear a 12 in Nike and NB, but these fit me best in size 11.5

    Awesome pair of shoes.

I was looking to purchase another pair of hiking shoes, however I wanted a lightweight shoe that'd work for trail running, day hikes, and week long trips.

This shoe is spectacular, it has awesome grip to it's sole. It is super comfortable, and is gortex, so it performs amazingly in river crossings, as well as general wet conditions.

The shoe is very lightweight and durable the materials used are second to none.

I'd highly recommend this shoe to you.

It runs a little wide compared to most shoes that I have purchased before, but still a great fit.

I purchased the Agravic because I liked my SwiftRs so much. I was really excited to see the Boost rubber incorporated into a shoe that was supposed to fit similar to the SwiftR. The SwiftR is my everyday shoe as well as approach and sometimes running shoe. I was looking for something to replace them but I also wanted something that I'd be more comfortable to take out on long runs. The Agravic fits true to size in length and feels true to size in width. I've run mostly in Altras for the last year or so and they are obviously narrow compared to those. I initially was wearing them to work and around town for about a week, the boost rubber provided excellent cushion on pavement. I took them out on a short run and was really impressed. I've been running trails in them ever since. This past weekend I went on a 25K snow run in them, then shoveled the driveway and the Gore-tex liner kept my feet dry and happy. The next day I took them on a 25 mile run on the Kokopelli trail and they were perfect. The Agravic was awesome on all types of terrain from hardscrabble to scree to technical rock hopping. My legs feel good and I felt confident in my foot placements due to the AMAZING Continental rubber outsole. These shoes look good, they feel good. I've run about 80 or so miles in mine now and I can say they are a great buy.

    Fit is Off

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: US 7.5
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 135lbs

I really wanted to like these shoes, but the fit is just off. I normally run a US7.5 EU 40.5 for street shoes. These are 40.7EU on the website and the next size down is 40. This big gap unfortunately doesnt service my feet well. 40's are too small and 40.7 my shoe floats too much fore aft. Lateral fit is spot on for me. I ended up returning these to Adidas.

Aside from the fit the quality of the shoes is great. The Continental rubber combined with its tread pattern does very well on rock, loose rock, mud, and snow. The boost rubber keeps the feet comfortable. I'd like to see quick laces on these in the future. Also has one of the best tongue concepts I've seen in a shoe. It really opens up for easy shoe removal.

Overall a great offering and might work really well for someone that finds themselves not fitting well into traditional half sizing.
