In collaboration with the Haa Aani Alliance, which works to restore and preserve the waterways and salmon spawning grounds, Weston created the Backwoods x Haa Aani Alliance Splitboard to help us chase pow while repping a good cause. This award-winning directional splitboard showcases its expertise at riding snow on various terrain. Its highly rockered, shovel tip and blunt, early rise tail promote charging hard through deep snow down open bowls, while the camber underfoot handles edge control in tight couloirs. Weston built this board out of a poppy poplar wood with light, stiff bamboo, and there are carbon stringers to amplify the board's flex without adding weight.

Do it all split with awesome graphics
This split can really do everything, has some taper to it and this makes it super nimble, so if you loves tree runs or if you just want something that is quick edge to edge, this is the board! Wider nose and smaller tail, makes this board float really well on those powder days. This can also perform really well in more technical terrain as well from steeps to chutes and some, it really can handle anything you throw at it! Plus the graphics is a sweet perk and part of the proceeds go towards restoring and preserving the waterways of salmon spawning grounds of habitats globally.

The backwoods absolutely rips powder! I’ve used this board inbounds and backcountry on numerous powder day and I love ripping it through the trees and bowls. Its short tail makes it nimble enough to make tight closer turns around and through tree gaps while the directional tapered shape lets you generate and hold speed on the rolls/flats. But don’t be fooled just because it loves the trees, bowls, and meadows doesn’t mean you can’t open it up with some big arching turns on groomers as well. The color way and graphic are super rad and pop out through the snow incredibly!
