Stellar blanket
Absolutely love this blanket. I was about to buy it when realized it is treated with DWR! I really wish companies didn't use these chemicals at all. On a jacket or outer layer I can understand the reasoning but on a blanket it is really not needed! I really wanted to buy this but because of the DWR I didn't. ☹️

Love it!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I was a little hesitant about the pricing on this item but the quality is great. It's the perfect size and is very cozy. We have golden retrievers so this is a great blanket to repel puppy hair. We use this blanket at home and on trips. It's also great that this blanket packs up so small, you can throw it in your pack and not have a huge bundle. Love the various snaps and ability to tighten up. Definitely recommend this blanket; the price, quality and functionality are perfect.

Love it!
I used this all summer camping, backpacking, sleepovers.. So lightweight and durable. Love the bison too. Great for an additional cover over a sleeping bag on a cool, high elevation night.

Great family camping blanket
I was recently given the yellow version of this blanket by Therm-a-Rest to use this summer and I love it. Not only is it a great colour, but its is really light and breathable. We used it as a throw blanket on the ground for our 8 month old baby to hang out on camp, wrapped our senior dog up in it in the chilly mornings, and snuggled up in it during the day. It's a great multi purpose blanket is always along for the ride now! And it is super easy to shake out and wipe down and doesn't really seem to get dirty ever (which is amazing when you're camping with dogs and kids!).

All around or frontcountry
I was given this blanket by Therm-A-Rest to test and review it. This blanket is the perfect all-around blanket. I ended up taking it front country camping to test it out. Some of the big things that I loved about it were that it is breathable, light both in weight and feel, and multi-functional. It was pretty warm the night we camped, so instead of a sleeping bag, I opted to use the Stellar Blanket. It ended up being very breathable and light. Just enough for comfort. Also, this blanket packs up small. When opened up, you have the option to button it up around you or just use it like a throw blanket. I love the multi-function use you can get out of it. I would imagine this blanket to be perfect whether you're backpacking, using it in the front country, the backyard, or even at home if you wanted.

Perfect for backpacking or back yard
I bought this for a late summer backpack trip. It packs so small and light but offers a lot of warmth. I didn't miss a sleeping bag at all. It was an excellent update to my hiking gear and is also serving me well for back yard stargazing.

Cozy for everyday home use
Got this for a summer bike trip to reduce sleeping bag weight. It packs down great, looks fantastic (I am a sucker for Bison), and overall I love it. But! This may be warm enough for summer camping as a lighter weight alternative to sleeping bags in warmer climates, but the nights in the western Cascades and over into the Yakima Valley....not so much. If you wanted to wear all your layers, some light gloves and a balaclava, or use, as I did when sleeping in an adirondack shelter, the lightweight tarp I brought for extra rain cover as a blanket instead, that might work. I have ended up using this as a perfect winter layer in bed, under our quilt, which is not quite warm enough for winter nights. It's surprisingly soft for a synthetic fabric (I am not a fan and use natural fibers as much as practicality allows).

Pleasantly Surprised
I got more than I bargained for with this blanket. Love that it has its own pocket, although I bet it could be compresses to the size of a Nalgene. Am I misusing it when I connect the perimeter snaps to themselves to make it a tube? It works pretty well as a warm weather sleeping bag like this.

Good for Lots of Stuff
I like the weight and pocket, which is part of the blanket and doesn't get lost. The zipper closure makes the blanket a pretty good pillow when it's packed away. It also makes a good cover when camping in warm weather, or a good layer underneath everything in a tent or hammock.
