comfy but tipsy
I like this thing, with your feet up is really, really comfortable. Heavy though, it spends most of the time on my porch.
My wife has been consistently ejected by this thing and doesn't like how it sits. I'm ok with it. I would sit in this before getting one.
better than the ground, worth the lb.'s
I think the title tells you everything you need to know
Not meant for hardcore backpacking
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Bought two of these. Just sent them back because they broke/cracked. Didn't survive 160 mile backpacking trip. Thermarest products are typically awesome. The design of these chairs is in fact, awesome. However, they both cracked in the same area. A more durable polymer would fix the issue. Prior to cracking, these chairs were incredibly comfortable and worth the 3lb weight.
Super neat and stable enough
It doesn't feel so stable that you might kick back in it, but it's a worthwhile trade-off for its awesome stowability.
Really easy to set up and put away, and beats stuffing a cumbersome folding chair into a bag.
The 300 pound capacity is plenty--just no lap sitting.
