The simple design of The North Face's Glacier belies just how versatile it is. Using Polartec Classic 100, which has finely woven micro-fibers, this layer holds your body heat in. At the same time, the fleece is highly breathable to allow for sweat to evaporate, which will keep you dry and warm. And because winter doesn't mean that you should leave your sunscreen at home, the Glacier also has a UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) of 30. The updated silhouette features a longer body with a 1in drop tail for more coverage. The slim, raglan sleeves minimize fabric bunching under backpack and outer layers.
