While we're skiing hard enough to break a sweat, the last thing we want is the winter air freezing the perspiration to our skin. Luckily, this innovative baselayer keeps us dry so we can stay out of the lodge longer. Between its unique blend of moisture-absorbing and moisture-wicking threads, its "DotKnit" weave with engineered holes, and its proprietary quick-drying technology, we're kept comfortable and bone-dry before our sweat even has a chance to chill.

On point
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best base layer in the biz and sees a ton of use as a single layer in cool temps when hiking in a light weight long sleeve shirt with shorts is the call. I'm 6'0 185 with an athletic build for reference and size Lg is spot on. Close enough fit to do its job right and not bunch up when slipping in and out of layers but not so tight you look silly wearing it on its own. It's PERFECT! Stitching around thumb holes in sleeve are bomber and comfortable... huge plus to a well made shirt.

I think TNF dotknit base layer is probably the best lightweight baselayer I have ever worn. it wicked exceptionally well and stay dried and quickly dried while wearing throughout hiking. Sadly, the major negative is durability. After wearing once, the fabric had runs (e.g. like pantyhose runs) and threads seem to be popping up all over the place.

Ok At Best...Old version was 10x better!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shirt is just ok. I had an older version of the summit shirt and the material was SO much better! I wish they still sold that version. Also, the fit is not very good. I was very disppointed as the old one was my favorite shirt and this one is not very comfortable, I don't like the material and it doesn't fit well.

Would recommend to anyone working/playing in cold climates
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My nephew works at a ski lodge in Colorado and tells me this shirt has become part of his "space man" suit. He drives 2 hours a day in snow and ice to get to the lodge. Excellent quality and value.
