Nailed it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this when it first came out, because I needed mid-layer that is light, breaths well, packs tight, and can perform as warmth insulation when needed. The intended activities were winter hikes, climbs, ski touring. My body usually runs pretty hot when moving, and thus i rarely used down jackets or down mid-layers during activities. But this one was perfect addition, as I can carry it easily and put it on when reaching the summit, or just when the temps drops a bit too low. I slept in it outside in the winter, was cozy. Fit is perfect for what it is supposed to do. Love the materials and look. The designers nailed this one!

A Be Active. Be Warm. Be Smart Jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] hot... remove a layer... cold... add a layer. I have been looking for the ideal jacket for warmth and breathability for mountaineering and ice climbing in the White Mountains. This is the real deal!

Warm jacket with a few quirks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's warm and breathable and that's great. The zipper is kind of cheap and unless the zipper is zipped all the way up, the hook lays kind of weird.

Super lightweight weight jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a great jacket. Very lightweight. Doesn't have a drawstring around the waist. Wind or cold will sneak up. No hook/tag to hang the jacket up on a hook. But can be easily rolled up. If it did have a drawstring the jacket would perform better in colder temperatures. I wound up wearing a TNF vest underneath.

Interesting Hoodie for those who run warm in general
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] bought as a midlayer because I needed something that provided breathability while simultaneously keeping my core warm. The construction is interesting: bands of 800-down with very permeable fabric elsewhere. This isn't a weather-proof hoodie by any stretch. In essence, it appears designed for those of us who run exceptionally warm, need the ability to maintain core temp within a layered system (e.g. using a Summit Torre shell and Smartwool/LL Bean baselayer), and who don't want to shed layers all that quickly. It is extremely packable, lightweight, and, for now, it appears durable. Hood is oversized for helmets but can be cinched down. Sleeves seemed perfect for me (shorter arm) and torso is long (which I appreciate). Note: this is NOT windproof. Don't expect it to keep you bone dry either. It is truly designed for middling temps (~5c/41f to 20c/68f) and as a good midlayer to a layered system for weather.
