Why We Like The North Face Himalayan Suit
Fully redesigned after extensive lab tests and field tests in Alaska and the Himilayas, The North Face Himalayan Suit provides peak performance for extreme, high-altitude expeditions. For maximum thermal performance and temperature regulation, it pairs 900-fill power Cloud Down with Ventrix stretch insulation in the inner draft flap and strategic zones. This body-mapped insulation combats down compression under our pack to maintain insulation and balances breathability and warmth in areas that are prone to overheating to maintain a more comfortable microclimate, whether we're active or resting. A double placket at the chest has an asymmetrical layout that reduces the likelihood of zippers freezing from oxygen mask condensation, and it also features a double layer that lets us access a secure zip pocket without letting heat escape or unzip both layers to vent heat and moisture vapor as needed. The seat and lower legs feature FUTURELIGHT with Spectra ripstop for better weather, abrasion, and puncture resistance, and the lower legs feature a 2-piece construction that allows us to adjust the independent shell and insulation layers to our preference—we can wear the shell and insulation both outside of our boots, both inside our boots, or the insulation inside with the shell outside the boots. On the inside, the internal vest features a suspension system to keep the suit in place, carry water bottles close to our bodies, and distribute weight more evenly across the suit. For additional storage, the suit has 11 internal and external pockets to keep things organized and accessible when we're high on the mountain. We may not need to wear the Himilayan Suit all the time, so we're happy that the Cloud Down packs down small and that the suit comes with a PU-coated compression sack to save space in our packs. All of the details, inside and outside, add up to a high-performance suit for our high-altitude expeditions.

portable igloo!
Okay, so I bought this winter jacket, and let me tell you, it's like wearing a portable igloo! I'm not sure if I'm staying warm because of the jacket or because I've accidentally smuggled in a family of penguins. Either way, I'm not complaining. Just be prepared for strangers to mistake you for a walking snowbank.

Banana SPLIT
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Me and my best buddy both bought this suit on our expedition to Everest! I must say, the thermals are PHENOMENAL! As is the color! The very bright yellow made it very easy for people to hop over my buddy's body as he tumbled down the mountain! His family was so happy that the bright color of this suit was so easily visible to rescuers, although it was too late and they were not able to risk other lives to bring him back down. I would absolutely recommend this product to my friend, but he's frozen solid by no fault of the suit. Hike Everest and you may see Mr. Banana Man along with his other permafrosted buddies like Green Boots! FLY HIGH KING!!

Dookie Flap came in CLUTCH
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took this thing out to the club with the boys and had to be the coolest guy out there. We left the club and met up for a rendezvous at the taco shop. Felt a rumble down under, sprinted to the can, and thanks to the built in dookie flap, we made it safely. Wish there was a wet wipe holder for the disaster tho.

Must have for Winter!!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I bought this because I needed something that was going to make me look good on the mountain, red is my favorite color and the price is so cheap, please do better. Overall, eyes were all on me which was the point, the zipper could be better quality but it gets the job done which is to be the most looking guy on the mountain. It wasn’t hard putting on and didn’t need that many layers, the hood barely fits though and no it’s not because I have a big head. Please fix your mistakes and not make it so cheap! Thank you

I would buy again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got one for free when I worked for them but you are never getting cold unless you are on mountain that is 40 below. It's not for daily wear because it is so good. Only mountain wear or in the high plains in winter when it is 20 below and wind chills of 30 or 40 below. It is worth it if you can afford it.

Wow look at that yellow
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was happy to see this yellow on the site. When I first saw this I said "wow look at that yellow... that yellow is as bright as my toilet". Before buying it my personnel said I would never use this... Wrong, I have used it while skiing. I hope to use it in Montana soon. The North Face makes American goods that are timeless.

Pretty Fly for a White Guy
I was the flyest dude on the runs at Whistler this past week. I could tell everyone on the mountain was checkin me out in my new one piece snowsuit.

Day 3
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lost the guide wire during a blizzard on our ascent. 3 days of no contact with my team. Supplies are running low but I'm very warm.

Uh yeah its sick
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From Vegas to Miami, I'm the hottest in the club. This is honestly a steal for the value, waiting for a Gucci collab.
