    Mixed feelings

    Familiarity:I've used it several times

Not a bad compass overall however, its made a little one the cheap side. This compass, doesn't seem like its a very strong product. I feel like i could crush this entire thing in my hand, the material/plastic, is very low quality. I think this is something i will have to keep in my pack, rather than on myself, keeping a correct heading. There is no way this thing could take much of a beating, not that you would want to be rough with your compass, this is something you going to want to handle with more care than normal. But not terribly awful in anyway, was just expecting a little more from Suunto. A good basic compass for the once and a while hiker/explorer. Not for your everyday outdoors-men, but not a bad idea for a backup though.

    WORKS WELL

Honestly i am still learning how to use a compass properly but i have been told this is a very good piece. solid construction and easy to read. The cord to wear around the neck is a little short but does the job.

    Handy Dandy

Cheap and easy. The increments are small and precise. I'm pretty happy with this compass.

    Great for the price!

This compass has served me well. The expert mapper may require more features, but for the price this is perfect for the beginner. It is easy to use and durable enough for general use.

Cheep, easy, and gets the job done

the best companion for a weekend fling is cheep easy and they get the job done... this compass does that. It has what you need, is light and don't have to worry about losing it in the water. I use it for most cases and would recommend it for anyone who is getting into the outdoors and experienced people alike.

    It works

Simply put, this compass works. It is small enough to fit in a pocket and effective enough to navigate with. Don't get stuck outside without one. It has easy to read features and is durable.
