Good Option for Kids That Can Be Further Improved
Purchased this for my 8-year old (size large) to wear on cold and windy days to school and for hiking, snowshoeing, camping, and playing outdoors. So far it's worked great for those purposes and he's said he really likes it. It seems warm enough for temps in the upper 20s and 30s (F), blocks wind, and isn't "itchy" or uncomfortable to wear; being able to adjust the fit is a big plus too. The ear flaps could be slightly longer and positioned more forward to provide better coverage of the ears. They do an okay job but could be functionally improved. Also, more color options (e.g., green, red, blue) would be appreciated. Other than the ears fitting a little better, when I asked my son if there was anything he didn't like about the hat he said he wished it was a different color ("rust" red is currently his favorite).

Perfect for 4-year-old girl!
My daughter loves this hat and how it keeps her ears warm and also gives some sun protection. She can adjust the fit herself and it stays on nicely, even without a chin strap.

Great winter hat
Great winter hat for my little! Warm, adjustable size and nice color. I like the brim since it's hard/impossible to keep sunglasses on my toddler.
