Useless - They don't stay up

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I got these for running and they're useless because they don't stay up. There's no rubberized/sticky grip at the top of the legs, so they just fall down.

I usually wear medium but I got these in large because they (supposedly) run small. Maybe a medium would work better, but I wasn't willing to wait another 4 days to receive something that I don't expect would work. Instead I went to a brick and mortar store to try on Pearl Izumi leg coolers, that actually have a rubberized/silicone grip on the thigh bands.

If you are intent on getting SUGOi Leg Coolers, DO NOT GET THIS VERSION! Get the next model, the updated one (it's the one that's also available in a blue/aqua color). Those have a silicone grip at the top to keep them from sliding down your leg.

    Cooling ????

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XL
    • Height: 5'11"
    • Weight: 190lbs

bought these as I couldn't het my size in either Castelli or Pearl Izumi.
They looked but material seems inferior and the worst is that they don't have any leg grippers. Wouldn't recomment

    cooling...well maybe

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: XL
    • Height: 6'0"
    • Weight: 170lbs

Got these to protect from the sun so I didn't have to lather up with sunscreen for the longer rides. they are supposed to "cool" which I was a little skeptical about when buying. but they seem ok. I didn't experience the cooling effect but they won't overheat either. I size up with all sugoi and castelli kit and got an XL. quality seems ok. should last a season. my experience with this type of products is they usually stretch out and slide down. so far so good though.

    Great fit

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

They are really lightweight, anatomically cut, and really comfortable, like other Sugoi leg warmers I have. I also have the arm coolers and use them very often. The leg coolers get used less frequently, as they are a little more of a pain to put them on, so I generally only use them for longer rides. Not needing to put on sunscreen all over is really nice. They also do a good job of producing a bit of a cooling effect. A smart addition to your kit if you ride somewhere warm and sunny,

    A great alternative to sunscreen

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I use these most of the year as I spend up to 25 hours in the sun a week. I was tired of grimy sunscreens so I decided to start using arm coolers/screens. I discovered that I also liked the moisture transfer feature, so I decided to try the leg coolers as well. I have yet to see even the most minimal tan lines, so I think they work exactly as advertised. I have olive skin, so I cannot speak for the extremely fair-skinned, but they work for me. One note: "rookie" chain marks are permanent on these things... you can see the imprint of the front chain ring on my right calf (doh!)
