    Awesome Socks and Well Priced

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These socks are great for the price. They are sort of thick/padded, but the merino breathes well. The fit is ergonomic and true to sizing. Highly recommend these socks.

    Great Socks!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are great socks for hiking, running, are just wearing around town. The wool is not scratchy and the padding is not overwhelming.

    Great gifts

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

When do socks become a great gift? When you realize anyone has a supply of cotton and needs some new threads. Have an active buddy, surprise them with these! Pass on the goodwill and good socks. I have them as well and love them.

    Great gifts

    Happy Feet, Happy Goat

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Was looking to add onto my sock collection and normally go with Darn Tough all the way but wanted to try Backountry brand socks. These socks are super comfortable/soft with a fair amount of cushion underfoot and around the toes. I would like to see these socks in a crew length as well for tall boots. These come in anatomical sizing with a left and right sock.

For when you can't wait until Christmas

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Short on socks? These are great every day socks with a merino blend, so I can wear them for days on end without getting too stinky. And for the price, you can't beat a deal like this! I wish they were a bit taller, but overall they fit great.

    Comfy Feet

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Simple, useful socks. These are comfortable and hold up well. The wool keeps my feet dry and manage moisture well. I have also liked the way the merino wool keeps the smells at bay. These are not super high tech or ultra long lasting but for day to day wear I have bought multiple pairs and worn them almost daily for years.

    Good Socks

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

At first I was concerned about the length, too short for a calf sock and too long for an ankle sock. After a few minutes all concerns were dismissed. Socks stay put, kept my feet dry and wore well for a four day back pack trip. The last day as we were getting ready to fly out of the wilds it snowed a few inches and my socks got wet. I hung them in my tent and even in damp, cold conditions they were reasonably dry in a few hours.

    Keep buying them

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

I like these socks a lot and they seem to last a while. I wash and dry them like all my other socks. My issue is the tip on my big toe seems to destroy these socks after a few months - I wear them every day. I have enough pairs to get me through the week and then some.
They feel great and don't hold smells very much which is a huge plus when backpacking. I have never gotten a blister with these but like I mentioned then seem to wear faster than some of the other options out there. But when they go on sale I still buy a fe pairs to replace the ones I burn through.

    Not too hot

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Height: 5'10"
    • Weight: 165lbs

I find a lot of hiking socks overheat my feet, and are basically ski socks with different branding. These are the right cut, thickness and material. I've used these on hikes in hot weather, while using my waders, and around the house and they've worked well in all scenarios.
