Dangerous
Great looking shoe and comfortable. The problems I had are the heel wore out very quickly and these are extremely slippery on smooth surfaces. Mostly side to side. Forward seems to be just fine. First I slipped in my truck bed and figured the smooth surface in the truck bed was to blame. A couple days ago I slipped on some indoor stairs with a smooth rubber coating. Complete loss of traction to where both feet came out from under me. My soles were still wet from being outside in the snow, even though I had been inside for approximately 10 minutes and walking on rugs and carpet. I think this sole design needs to be seriously improved.

great shoe

Out the box this shoe is a great chukka boot. Been wearing it all spring in the Sierras and do not have a complaint. I have not gotten them wet to see if leather changes color yet though. I have a couple pairs of Sorels and this is top notch like the others.

The shoe does what it is supposed to do. It fits. It is comfortable. It looks good. It has good traction. It is not indestructible, but it isn't supposed to be.

Comfortable!
Very lightweight and comfortable. I walk 10-12 miles per day and these are the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve ever had for work.
