Bring the best part of camping with you.
Camping just doesn't feel like camping without a big fire to gather around at night, but unfortunately there are a lot of places where building a fire pit can damage the terrain and is banned. Luckily you can leave no trace and still have your beloved fire with the Snow Peak Pack & Carry Fireplace. This stainless steel fire pit folds up flat for easy carrying and storage, and it keeps the fire off the ground to prevent heat damage to the ground and make clean-up easy. Plus, Snow Peak offers plenty of accessories (sold separately) for cooking and grilling over the fireplace.

- Q & A
Sturdy and reliable
Iâve loved this fireplace. I use this on float trips on the South Fork and Green River and this beauty packs up flat, fits in the boat and is indestructible! It is heavy and is perfect for float trips. Leave no trace camping is important to me and this fireplace makes that possible. You can easily adjust grill height with the available grill grate accessory and if you use charcoal it evenly cooks brats, trout, veggies or breakfast fare with ease. The temperature is controlled with height only. I love it! The carrying case available separately is great as well.
Quality Fire Pit
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I received the pit and carry case in fine condition. When I opened up the pit I noticed that a carry bag was already included as I was expecting no bag and is why i ordered one. However the bag that is included is VERY cheaply made with super thin nylon which will not last long with such a heavy item inside. The additional carry bag is REALLY heavy duty canvas and will last a lifetime. I highly recommend it for transport and to keep the heavy fire pit from scratching up the interior of your car, etc. The other thing I noticed is that in the product photos the pit material almost looks like aluminium even though it is stated as stainless steel. The pit is indeed stainless steel and very well made. The medium is fine for me. It can handle the "standard" size pieces of pre-bundled wood you often find at your local supermarket with the ends sticking above the pit 4 or 5 inches. You night have to chop smaller pieces for kindling. If you want all pieces fully contained in the pit then get the large.
Hi, spec dimensions list a large (17.75 x 17.75 x 13 in) and a medium option (13.75 x 13.75 x 9.75 in) but in the selection drop down there is a small and a medium. Are there three sizes, or is small = medium and medium = large?
also would a small size become available since there is a large/medium listed
In areas where backcountry fires are prohibited would this product be legal to use?
