Elegant, Modern, Sporty, Airy, & Cool!!
I am so in love with this dress! I purchased it in black in size Medium. I'm 5'11" with a 36B bust and weigh 160lbs. This dress simply floats around me. It's so perfect for hot summer days in any situation. The square cut of the neckline is very flattering, with a modern look. The spiraling ruffle adds a dimension which is different from most summer dresses out there, making it also very flattering around the hips. And it has pockets!! Yay! I so love the little triangular detail on the back which acts as a vent, but also looks very attractive. The back also drops low, but not below bra strap level, making it feel airy & cool. The straps sit perfectly over bra straps and are a cozy and soft wool blend. I am so happy with this dress, I'm ordering another one, also in black. It's something which can be dressed up easily with some modern jewelry or cute sandals. But it's also super comfortable for hiking or shopping or gardening or travel. This dress hits me about mid calf. I would love this dress in more solid colors, like a deep blue or olive green. I would also love this dress with the same neckline, but in a length that hits at the knee or slightly above. Thank you!

I'd buy more, even with having to shorten the straps.
This is my second dress made with the recycled polyester/elastane combination. I'm short-waisted and pear-shaped, so to get the dress to fit, I shortened the straps quite a bit, but it wasn't difficult even with my limited sewing skills. There's very little merino wool in it (a small patch on the back). Looking forward to having more dresses made in this material (short sleeved/relaxed fit, please).
