Great for Backcountry skiing!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used several days in Utah backcountry in variable snow conditions. The zipper made controlling temperature a breeze

Wears like steel, feels like silk
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted something that I can depend on keeping me comfortable year round. That's why I chose merino wool for all the great qualities it has and most importantly I like it's versatility and toughness.

Incredible sweats!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These sweat pants are absolute heaven to wear. The comfort and quality are top-notch, and the hand of the material is actually elegant. I wear them casually around the house, and could easily run errands around town except that I want to keep them in this pristine condition. If one is considering them for outdoor use or excercise, I would recommend for colder climates. In southern california where I live, I can use them as a warmup, but they will be too warm to actually play in or run in.

Would buy in heartbeat if was clean no knee,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the fabric, don't like all the Unnecessary Knitting Ornamentation. Get rid of that and you'll have a beautiful pant great for any cold weather activity or casual wear!

OK but one shortcoming
- Size Bought:
- L
- Height:
- 6' 3"
- Weight:
- 205
These are ok, but not quite as good as the other Smartwool pants I've bought over the years. The main problem is that these are a little short-waisted, and the problems this causes are amplified by the fact that these rely on a drawstring rather than having a good elasticized waistband. The combination of the two makes it harder to keep them from slipping down.

COOL and warm!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use them for indoor (but cold) tennis. Warm but not too warm, don't seem to stretch out at the knees. Comfortable, not restrictive, not too many pockets or doodads, a clean good look.

Wrong spec is listed on the website
Not 71% wool. It's actually 62% wool. This is misinformation because 65% is a water shed of getting full advantage of "merino wool." Return will cost you $7 + a trip to a courier shop.
