Did not expect massive pilling of fabric

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Size Bought:
Small

Noted massive pilling of inner thigh area after first use. I really like the general look of this pants, would have bought another pair but first pair performed dismally. Needs to improve design on part of fabric that meets a lot of action/friction.

Don't buy!

Familiarity:

I love smartwool but I hate these. I wore them skiing twice- kept me nice and warm BUT they literally snagged on both sides of my upper thighs and bottom. Lots of snags that will become holes. I have some smartwool that I have had for 15 years and it has worn so well. The last 2 items I bought got holes in them or snagged right away. It is so sad because they are so nice and warm on the cold days. I haven't even washed them yet.

Poor quality

Why it gets two stars: The good: the fit. I'm 6ft 210lbs. These go all the way down to the bottom of my ankles and I like that a lot. The waistline sits nice and mid. The bad: after wearing three times out to playgrounds and a they look like this. Unraveling, pilling, and I haven't even washed them yet! I didn't do anything strenuous or crazy I just went. For the money, they're warm but they aren't going to look nice for long. My American Eagle leggings from 7 years ago hold up better then these.
